"Hey asswipes," Daisy shouted to Max and Daisy once she walked into the cafe.
"Hello Daisy." Luna smiled at her, handing her her daily summer drink.
"Don't choke this time you bitch." Max laughed referring to the time she choked on one of the strawberries.
Daisy rolled her eyes and gave him a fake laugh before returning to her drink. Justine came in late like usual and they had all greeted her. Their relationship had gotten better but it would never be the same.
"So where are you heading out later today? You did say you were leaving early right?" Daisy asked.
"Yeah, I'm not sure yet. We might go to this fair that we went to last year with his sister Gemma."
"Well have fun."
The day went along smoothly, the only difference from all the other times was that Harry hadn't stopped in for his visit. He was busy running around all day that he couldn't end up coming. This made the day seem longer than it actually was but Luna got through it nonetheless.
"Alright guys, I'm heading out." Luna called out to them.
Luna headed to her car and started it when she saw a note in the passenger's seat. She picked it up and read it: Hey Luna, I love you. Just wanted you to know that.
She smiled, folding the note back up and putting it in her pocket. Harry had been leaving notes around for Luna to find. He did it to help bring up her self esteem and just to show her how much he truly loves her.
Luna got home and quickly changed out of her uniform and into something more comfortable. She smiled to herself thinking back to the night when Max told them to come out with them in her sweats. She considered putting them on, but decided against it when she realized how hot it was outside.
She turned on the AC and sat down on the couch, turning on the TV. She was watching a bit of Toy Story 3 when her phone started to buzz. She looked over and got a text from Harry.
Harry: Meet me in the hallway
Luna: um okay
Harry: Wait don't actually
Luna: So where should i meet you at tho??
Harry: Our spot
Harry: But next time ask where we should link up
Harry: thought I taught you better than this
Harry: Love you
Luna smiled at her phone. Words couldn't describe the feelings she had for him. She got up, turned off the tv and decided to walk to their spot. The weather was nice enough where it wasn't too hot to walk.
She strolled toward the park taking in her surroundings. The trees were so green as well as the grass. It wa a pretty color, but that wasn't her favorite kind of green. Her favorite kind was the one that resided inside of Harry's eyes.
She smiled at the children she passed running back and forth through their sprinkler. She hoped that they would stay young and not grow up too fast. Luna remembers wishing on shooting stars and dandelions that she could just grow up already because being a grown up is so much easier.
One of her biggest regrets was wishing that she wasn't a kid anymore. When you're young, everything seems so much better when your older. Like there are no problems and nothing bad in the world, and adults aren't going to tell you what to do. But really, all of your problems start when your an adult. She wishes that she could be a child again.
