17 | Hurt feelings

soory i took so long to update, had a bt of writers block and i wanted you guys to like and comment more i got a little discouraged but im over it and decided its whatever...

My eyes fluttered open and a pout took over my face seeing i was in bed alone now. I sat up to check the clock seeing it was almost 6 so i got up like Nicholas said and pulled on a pair of grey sweat shorts and a black teeshirt. I slipped on some black socks that came up to my calf a little and slipped on my slides before walking out to meet Savana at her room.

There was a big smile on my face while i was walking to meet the girl i gained a huge crush on but my smile slowly dropped seeing Savana and some guy leaning against a wall making out.

I twisted my lip sighing...

" Don't think too much of it...she does it to everyone" Aidan said wrapping an arm around my shoulder. I furrowed my eyebrows looking up at him.

" She did it to you?" i asked as we walked to the cafeteria. He nodded so nonchalantly combing a hand through his mess of blonde hair.

" Me, Frankie boy...that guy right there...Even lunchbitch Geo" He shrugged. I frowned.

" I feel stupid now..." i mumbled playing with my hands.

" Don't...It's her loss...I'd tap that anyday" he winked slapping my butt. I squealed slapping his chest while he laughed.

" You're such a creep" i rolled my eyes.

" I'm sorry cuteness...I only show my favorites this much attention" he winked tracing his fingers down my side. I bit my lip freezing up.

" Can you please stop touching me like that" i said starting to tear up. Aidan stopped and looked at me.

" Tessa I-I'm I'm so sorry" Aidan said backing away from me.

I looked down and blinked.

" Can you cover for me?...I need to be alone for a second..." I mumbled wiping under my eyes.

" O-Ofcourse...I'm sorry..." Aidan said scared to touch me.

" It's okay Aidan...You didn't mean to..." I said pushing my dark black hair behind my ear.

Aidan gave me a weak smile clearly still filled to the brim with pity guilt. I sighed wrapping my arms up around the tall guys neck leaving a sweet kiss on his cheek right beside he lips which were pulled back into a surprised smile. Aidan lifted his hands to my hips and held me close while we both took in each other's smell.

This hugged started as me reassuring him that i wasn't upset but for some reading i felt like i shouldn't let go.

I was the first to pull away though, I felt like the hug lasted way to long so i pulled away awkwardly.

" I-I'll bring you some lunch...If you still wan-"

" That sounds great...bye Aidan..." i sweetly smiled turning and speed walking back to my room.

As soon as i entered my room i shut the door and took deep breaths before a smile took over my face.

" Hey..." A soft voice said walking into my room.

I looked up and softly smiled seeing Aidan with two plates a food and a weak smile.

" Mind if i eat here too?...Watching Savana swallow one of the other weirdos is sickening" he fake gagged making me giggle scooting over so he had space.

" It's fine...Where's my cutie Frankie" I asked ignoring the visible scowl Aidan had because it quickly disappeared when he noticed me looking.

" He's in his therapy session...yanno with his parents and sister...They keep trying to take him out of here but Frankie clearly doesn't wanna go home...that family is sick" Aidan shook his head popping open the container of Mashed potatoes and spicy chicken with a little disgusting slop of Mac and cheese.

" That sucks...he's like a little brother and i feel bad" i pouted doing the same.

" Has that Nate guy visited again?" Aidan asked furrowing his eyebrows. I frowned shaking my head.

" no and i'm glad he hasn't...I never wanna see that asshole again..." i mumbled knowing that was partially untrue.

" What're you gonna do when you get outta here?" he asked looking at me while he ate.

I never had anybody listen to me like this so it was kinda weird. Not even Nate listened...he stopped halfway and put his own teo cents in but never listened fully...Derek...he listened to much...Aidan...he listens enough and shows that he's interested and actually cares about learning about me...

I furrowed my eyebrows scanning his face.

" I wanna leave...Leave Omaha forever...Go somewhere sunny...never go back to that stupid school...Maybe...Maybe Arizona...or California?...Or Texas..." i shrugged smiling about the thought of me alone making a different name for myself. " I wanna be known as something good, something other than the girl who was molested her whole life and did nothing...or the girl who fucked guys to push away the things happening in her real life..." i said surprised i was lettig that much about myself out for him to hear.

" I wanan be able to be touched by another guy without feeling disgusting...The...The rape stopped for a while when u got into high school but that noght...That night ruined my life all over again...I wanna be able to ignore that again and be normal...or at least somwhat sane...I wanna get married one day and forget about my Omaha past...I wanna kiss a boy thats not Nate again...I wanna have a bestfriend...preferably not one who fucks everyone or better yet...my ex boyfriend..." I let it all out and Aidan didn't look like he was judging me at all.

" Then do that...You can do anything you want yanno...None of anything that happened was your fault...Your Dad...That Nate and Derek Drama...That bestfriend thing you said...I wanna go to California and change my life and maybe be happier without having to worry about being a freak..."

" We're both Freaks Aidan" i said pushing his hair back. He twisted his lips looking at him. " But we have something that no body else has..." i smiled lookin into his soft eyes.

" What's that?" he asked furrowing his eyebrows...

" We can be freaks together..."

With that i leaned in and connected our lips, ignoring the sound of the door opening...
