In Mystic Falls

Caroline tried to get in touch with Elena, but there was no answer, so she went to her house. 

Jeremy informed her that Elijah and her went to New Orleans, as Sophie left Mystic Falls and they suspect that she knows something.

"Pack some of your stuff...we're going too!"- she said. 

"What...why?" 

"We can't leave Elena alone with them"- Caroline reasoned. 

"She wants to hang with them... it's her thing. I am done worrying about her. They have Elijah's supermom who will find Klaus...even better as I really don't want to see his ghost."- Jeremy said. 

"So you are going to just let it be, serioulsy? And what about Bonnie? It looks like everyone's given up on her...you cared about her once?!"- Caroline played the emotional card.

Jeremy sighed and went to his room to get a few T- shirts.

"I don't want to stay with them"- Jeremy said to her

"We will stay in a hotel...whatever...that's what compulsion is for" 

"Aren't you going to get Matt?" 

"No!"- she said sharply- "he will be fine...we need time away" 

Jeremy gathered that something had happened but he wasn't interested in all the details. 

He locked the house and they set off immediately to the airport.

In New Orleans at the Deveraux family house, Jane-Anne brought some food and took Sophie's phone as it didn't stop ringing. 

"You have about twenty missed calls - Elena!" 

"Give me the phone!"- Sophie said putting the Grimoire aside on a little  table. She now dialed Elena's number.

Jane- Anne could see that it was panic stations the way Sophie's facial expression changed in only two minutes. 

"I have to go...come with me... I'll tell you on the way..."- she grabbed the Grimoire and the two witches left for St. Louis St.

Kol was sitting on the sofa and felt like he was short of breath.

"You two together...didn't see this one coming..."- he said looking at Elijah and then Elena who informed them now that Sophie was on her way.

"I thought you were in love with that Salvatore!!"- Kol continued looking  at Elena- "you were pretty chummy in Denver!?" 

Elena looked at Kol but not in a kind way, more like in the lines of shut-up-right-now. 

"No... I am not in love with that Salvatore!"- she then said confidence  returning like a rush- " I am in love with your brother!" 

Elijah now looked at her as this was a very public declaration of her feelings towards him. 

"I'll take you word for it!"- Kol said. 

Now Elijah interfered- "Enough...you are not well....but you stop talking to Elena in that manner right now!" 

"Forgive me!"- Kol said as he now saw that Elijah wasn't trifiling and the tone of his voice indicated that he is majorly pissed. 

"Who is coming exactly?"- Kol wanted to know. 

"A witch doctor!"- Elijah then said calmly.

Sophie and Jane-Anne arrived some time later. Elijah showed them in and got  her to see Kol first. Everything else was to follow later.
