The Hunding king sat down with the five shaman witches who have now laid down the plan out of how to get to Elijah. They now knew that he got back from the spirit world. Rebekah was the other one that they have to target soon, as she was now in possession of the plaque that held magical powers inscribed in it,

"Elijah of Anglia does not possess the magic of the the five of us... he is only a vampire!"- the shaman witch said- "his Norn mother was not allow to pass any of the magic to him by the ancient laws of not being allowed to meddle...."

"What of the Hybrids?"- the Hunding king asked.

"We made sure the blood of the second hybrid is cursed. He cannot sire other hybrids!"- the shaman witch assured him- " and the Bennet witch is no more!"

"Good!"- the Hunding king was happy. Everything was going their way.

The one thing he didn't know was that the wrong Deveraux witch was killed.

In New Orleans

Kol came to the kitchen after he had spoken to Elijah. He found Sophie curled up on the sofa that they brought in for her, so she would get rest from her reading. He removed the Grimoire that she had been reading and covered her up. He sat down at the table and stayed there as if keeping vigil. Was he falling in love with this feisty punkish looking witch or has he already fallen. He had a weakness for witches, but Sophie was different. There was a certain vulnerability under the feisty exterior that was drawing him to her. To find your kindred spirit was a quest of a lifetime.

In Elijah's room, Elena was getting ready to lay down. 

"It's nearly a break of dawn..."- Elijah thought as he changed his shirt and trousers.

Elena got out of the bathroom, drying her wet hair.

"Are you ok?"-she asked him.

"Yes... "-he said pensively.

"You're thinking about Klaus, aren't you?"

"The time in the void felt like eternal damnation.... I know what he had done... yet... "

"I am sorry..."- she said and sat down next to him on the bed.

"I kept remembering how it was .before we were turned... "

"Why didn't you leave Mystic Falls? Surely you could have gone somewhere else..."

"Father wouldn't... ah... we need to concentrate on you... Kol said that they got the Cure..."

"And Tyler is here... and he will have to try and train those hybrids... "

"You realize, Elena that some werewolves will have to be turned into hybrids..."

"I do... Sophie explained.... and Tyler said that they were killing werewolves too...those who didn't want to get into alliance with them..."

"Who is going to control those Hybrids... this could be an ongoing war..."- Elijah voiced his concerns.

Elena now understood the bigger picture.

"I don't want this life for you..."

"Sorry... all my friends are in this...you are in this... and I am the blood bank..."

"You have just said it... it sounded so crudely... the blood bank..."- he said.

"We will win this...!..."

"I thought about so much when I was in the void... all that has been and all that is coming..."

"Nature did this for a reason... duplicated me... there must be a reason why..."
