The band of vampires, witches, hybrids, a hunter and a human now moved to a Plantation property not far from New Orleans. There was plenty of space to house everyone to be comfortable and have their privacy. It became clear to everyone that they had to organize themselves in some kind of military fashion. The only person who had any real military knowledge was Damon, but his condition worsened. He now needn't be shackled. Sophie thought of a cocktail of different herbs adding a magic touch to it to alleviate the pain. Seeing him like that made everyone even more determined to wipe the Hundings completely out. The person who stayed with Damon the entire time was Katherine to Stefan's great amazement. She looked at everyone with hatred and resentment, but she went with them. Where else could she go, at least, she  would have food and shelter, and she didn't want to be on her own anymore.

Stefan brought her food that Sophie sent her. He now fed Damon some blood from a bloodbag, as he couldn't do it by himself.

"Kill me, Stefan..."- Damon took a weak grip of his brother's hand as Stefan wiped the bit of blood that was spilt on his neck- "please...I don't want this anymore..."

"I can't... I won't... this will soon be over...it's magic and when they kill the witches...you will be fine again..."- Stefan said. Stefan sat  down on the chair beside the bed not saying anything and listened to his brother's struggling to  breathe. Katherine finished her plate with the food and put it aside on the table.

"At least the food now tastes better than then..."- she sifted.

Stefan looked at them now in this beautiful room and then flashed back when he first saw Katherine.

In the drawing room, Elena and Elijah talked about the contents of the Grimoire and their ancestors, when Caroline came in, asking why Elijah wanted to speak to her.

"Ah, Caroline, please...in all this confusion I had no time to...well,... I have a message for you from Klaus...!"- he said.

"A message..??"- she was surprised to hear of it. She now looked at Elena, who stood up from the chair and wanted to leave to give them some privacy.

"You don't have to go Lena..."- Caroline said.

Elijah then put his hand on Caroline's temple. He asked her to close her eyes. She could now see Klaus. She could hear his voice clearly-

"All my senses came to life when I met you. You have my heart and my soul. You are the only one, Caroline. Always and Forever!"

Elijah then removed the hand and Caroline overwhelmed with emotions now just walked out the room. Elena wanted to go after her, but Elijah told her to let her be, for a while.

"He told her he loved her, didn't he...really loved her?!"- Elena stated looking at Elijah. He nodded.

Elena felt for her friend, who had always wanted to be all to a guy and it has always gone awry.

Caroline now rushed  fast out into the fields to be on her own and process what she had just seen and heard. All that she had surpressed and denied came up like a busy river crashing onto rocks. Noone wooed her like he did, and she had always wanted to feel special and be the one. And with all that he was, all that he had done, she saw the humane part of Klaus, his true self that he once was thousand years ago. She loved him, and it burnt so savagely. He might serve his sentence for all eternity and she may never see him.

In the house, Rebekah and Kol were discussing training plans and worked on the schedules. Elijah joined them not long after.

Sophie called Jeremy to discuss and give him input about the abilities of the Hunging king. She then also asked him to rest as she needed him to channel a link to the spirit world and find Lexi.
