*Vic's POV*

I was driving around and blasting "Fucking Problems" on the radio when I got a call.

"Where the hell are you?" Mike said through the phone. "You didn't call or text me and I was worried about you! It's been three hours."

"I was just...driving around...places," I lied.

"You were driving around? Wasting our gas? You dumbass, we need that gas money for more important things!"

"We never go anywhere besides school and we don't even take the car. So chill out! You'll be alright."

"When are you coming home? And I told the others. They were okay with it, but Alan wasn't."

"You told them? What about the other guys? I know Alan would give in and move on to Austin's band, but what about Kellin and Jesse? And I don't know when I'm coming home."

"Fine, but make sure you're home before dark. Yeah, I told them and Kellin was cool about it. Him and Jesse are moving on as well. They want to start their own band together. Sorry bro. They gave me all the deats. Turns out, they were thinking of starting their own band for a while now. They got the hook up with these guys in our school. I'll tell you everything when you get home."

"Okay. I need to go. There are cops everywhere and I feel like if they just look at me, they'll get suspicious."

"Okay, bye brother!" Mike said and then hung up.

~~~
"Hey, uh, Kellin?" I said while walking around in my room. He was popping a pimple on his face in the mirror. Ew.
"Yeah? What is it, Vic?"
"I think we should sit first," I told him, motioning him to come sit by me on the bed. He halted his spree on pimple picking and popped a squat next to me.
"What's up?"
"So you're starting a band with Jesse?" I questioned, biting on my nail.
"Yeah. I hope you're not mad. I just-"
I cut him off. "I'm not mad, I promise. But are you leaving the band because we didn't make it? Or is it because I didn't let you have your ideas put into the lyrics."
"Well," he began, staring at his shoes, "both. I'm sorry that I'm giving up on the band, but I think some of my ideas are beast and I just want to have my own band. Me and Jesse got the hook up with these guys and they're super cool!"
"I know. Mike told me. What were their names again?" I asked.
"Jack Fowler, Justin Hills, and Gabe Barham...besides Jesse."
"Oh, them? Yeah, they're awesome," I said, not impressed. "Do you have a band name picked out yet?"
"Not yet, but we're on the verge of getting one. It has to be something with sirens in it. I like the way sirens sounds, but I just can't put it all together. So yeah, sirens will fit in there somewhere."
"That's great. And you both are moving out...just like Alan?"
"Yeah," he said glumly. "I'm really sorry, but you'll always be my best friend. I won't ever replace you with anyone, alright?"
"Okay," I said sadly. He leaned in and gave me a hug.
"Thanks for understanding, Vic. You're amazing, really." He got up and walked out of the room.
So pretty much the only people that are going to live here are my brother and I. Jesse, Kellin, and Alan are all moving out. And now we'll only have one car in the driveway. One car is mine and the other one is Kellin's. I heard Jack has a car so transporation should be easy for them.
