*Jaime's POV*
"Vic, I'm gonna be honest with you," I started, hoping he wouldn't take my comment to the heart. "We gotta do something about your eyebrows." Now I regret saying it because the expression on his face wasn't pleasant. I always noticed that about his face. Something was a little off, but I never thought it would come to the conclusion of his eyebrows. Thick eyebrows don't bother me, they just throw me off. At least he could shapen them up a bit.
"What do you mean? What's wrong with my eyebrows?" he said, placing his hands on his hips.
"Well, they're very thick and unshapely." I came right out and said it. It's not gonna make me love him less if he doesn't get them done, it was just a suggestion to consider.
"The fuck does that even mean?" his voice more stern.
"You know I love you, but they need to be fixed. I don't care if you don't get them done, I was just wondering if it bothered you?"
"Is that why you can't look me directly in the eyes?"
"No, it's just, damn it, Vic. You're fucking perfect. I just need your eyebrows to be perfect like you." Is that mean? Am I too harsh?
"Umm, I don't know. I think they're fine. I've been made fun of for it before, but coming from you makes me feel ugly."
"Don't even start with that shit. I love you, you are not ugly, if anyone tells you that you're ugly, fuck 'em. Wait don't fuck 'em, fuck me instead." Maybe a little bit of a joke won't hurt him.
"Okay, fine, I'll fuck you," he chuckled, pecking me a kiss on the cheek. "Are you paying? I'm only doing this because I love you or else I couldn't give a shit about what you have to say."
"Yeah, I'll pay," I said, ignoring his statement about what others think.

"This may hurt a little," the lady said, smoothing on the hot orange wax around his left brow, shaping it to have a mini arch. I don't want him to look girly, he's just gonna have the middle done and the bottom. The top is unnecessary to be fixed because there's nothing wrong with it. She placed on the wax paper and softened her touch, rubbing lightly on the area that was about to be pulled. With a swift motion, she yanked off the wax paper.
"Ow, fuck!" Vic screamed, squeezing my hand. "That hurt sooo badly!"
"Other side now," the lady said, angling his face towards her, bringing his right brow closer. She mirrored her action and placed on the wax and wax paper. She ripped off the wax paper with more force than she did the last one.
"Ow!"
"Oh shut up, you big baby," I commented on his whining. He held onto my hand a little tighter.
"How do girls do this shit?! All I feel is pain and my skin catching on fire as it gets ripped off," Vic said, laying his head back down, staring at the lady who was preparing more agony for him. He's hanging onto my hand for dear life, like I'm protecting him from the evil lady that's gonna apply a sharp sting when being ripped off.
"You'll be fine. The redness will heal up later. Time for the middle and then you're done."
"Is this what a tattoo feels like?" Vic asked.
"No, worse."
More whining escaped his lips. I stared at him in pain. It was hard watching the excessive hairs get pulled off from his face. She couldn't do it a little more gentler? She's a freaking pyscho!

Later that day, we were all bored, sitting around eating chips and salsa while Mike made his stupid pizza rolls. Him and his damn pizza rolls. They always gotta come in between everything. I remember one time, it was after school and we were all hungry, Mike was the first one to go to the freezer, and he pulled out a box with no pizza rolls in it. But seriously, who the fuck puts an empty box of pizza rolls back in the freezer? WHO? He started arguing back and forth about his frozen snack being gone and blamed Vic for it because he was the only one home at the time. Silly Mike.
