-Unexpected new friend.
He had a beautiful soul, the kind of person who made you feel safe in his presence.
There was something about him—his warm demeanor, kind eyes, and genuine smile—that drew you in.
He was ethical and principled, steering clear of the teenage drama that surrounded him.
When I looked at him, I saw a man, despite his youth.
What attracted me most was his respectfulness in interactions with everyone around him.
I watched him for a while and realized there was no hidden agenda; he was simply one of the good ones.
As I got closer to him, it felt natural and unforced.
I learned his story: he had fallen for a girl who led him on without any intention of dating him, ultimately choosing another guy.
He carried the weight of unrequited love with remarkable grace; I couldn't help but admire his composure.
He was a true gentleman.
We were both broken in our own ways, and that's why I wanted to be his friend.
I didn't have to pretend around him; he appreciated the real me.
He was battling his own demons while I grew stronger facing mine each day.
He made life a little more bearable.
He gave me hope that I could meet good people and reconnect with others.
If there were more individuals like him, the world would be a much better place.
