- Another kind of disappointment.

The anger building inside me is silent, muffled like the moments before a storm breaks.

The words I long to shout are pressing against my lips, desperate to express the hurt I feel.

I find myself disappointed in people once again.

They were meant to be good friends, but I guess I deeply value the simple things that nurture friendship.

I'm tired of being honest about their wrongs only to see the same patterns repeat.

It's important to show the other person that they matter.

Respect is essential, and loyalty should never waver. Not letting your friend down should be the standard.

Friendship should be a powerful bond, cherished and cared for; it shouldn't leave you feeling neglected.

You deserve to feel valued and respected.

If they can't provide that, they aren't good friends, and it's time to let them go.

Learn from past mistakes and refuse to accept being let down.

Allow them to lose you, and let them experience the emptiness that follows when you stop pouring yourself into them.

They should know how much they need you.

Give them a taste of their own medicine, and go seek out those who love and treat you the way you deserve—not those who abandon you at the first opportunity.
