-Numbness is just a part of it
Sometimes, I feel a detachment from everything around me.
People fade into the background, and everything feels insignificant.
A strange numbness takes over, even when I felt blessed just moments before, grateful for the changes in my life.
All the faces I've memorized, the souls I've gotten to know—they don't realize it, but I'll never truly feel like I belong with them.
No matter how many people I spend time with, there's always a sense of dissatisfaction, a void that never quite gets filled.
It's a lonely feeling, this sense of numbness.
Over time, you begin to accept it—that maybe you don't quite fit anywhere, and that's okay.
You stop pretending to have fun and learn to live in the quiet, indifferent space you occupy.
It's not about giving up; it's about understanding that numbness is just another part of your journey.
You learn to go with the flow, and in doing so, you find peace.
Because in embracing the numbness, you allow yourself to heal at your own pace.
Then eventually, even if just for a fleeting moment, you may feel a spark again.
And that's enough to keep going.
