"You have a pool?" I exclaimed.

"What mansion is complete without a pool?" Percy smirked. "And a hot tub too!"

"How big is your pool?" I asked him, as he led me through a garden full of every kind of flower I've probably ever seen.

"Big." Percy winked. I couldn't shake the feeling that he was compensating for something.

He wasn't lying either, the pool was massive. If you weren't expecting there to be a pool in the Parker Mansion backyard, you could easily mistake it for a lagoon. And there was a fricken waterslide at the far end.

I swear I saw two ducks swimming around the other end, ya know, ducking their little heads under the water searching for fish.

"Oh my god." I gaped. "Dude, this is not a bloody pool. Might as well be a goddamn mini ocean."

Percy laughed and dragged me over to the side of the pool. "A mini ocean huh? I didn't even know that that's a thing."

"I guess you learn something new everyday," I smirked. "And because you suck at Maths and clearly can't learn anything there, i guess we'll have to make do."

Percy slapped his hand to his chest in mock hurt. "Wow, low blow there Athena. I can really feel the love just radiating off you in waves."

I laughed at him. "What do you expect from me? You're stupid."

Percy's face dropped. "Athena...you're so mean...maybe I should just forget about the tutoring, leave the football team and join the circus." I thought he was being serious, but noticed the little smirk he added on the end.

I slapped him on the shoulder and laughed. "That was mean! But you're probably right. You could be a clown! You're funny looking anyway."

I left him there, mouth wide and gaping and walked over to the very edge of the water to dip my tips of my finger in. The water was fairly warm. Percy followed me over, his mouth still wide open.

"For that comment, you're going straight in the water!" Percy exclaimed.

He picked me up over his shoulder in a fireman carry. I was kicking and screaming and laughing at him to put me down, but he refused to listen to me and was getting ready to throw me into the water regardless.

"One! Two! Thre-"

"WAIT." I screamed, and he paused mid throw. "I'm not wearing any bathers! I can't go in the water. You can put me down now please and thank you."

"Hm, not yet." Percy smiled. "You're wearing stuff under your school uniform right...?"

I scoffed at him. "Nah, I just go to school commando, you know? I like to feel free."

Percy coughed and stammered over his words. "I-uh-no that's not-ugh nevermind."

I laughed at him friendly. "Yes Percy, I'm wearing stuff under my clothes, like - hopefully - everyone else."

"Are they....see-through?"

"No Percy, they're not see-through."

"What colour are...god I feel so awkward asking you this. What colour are...they?" Percy said reluctantly.

I frowned at him. "Purple and black, seperately." Purple bra, black underwear. Don't judge me, they don't have to match, no one sees them anyway. "Why?"

"So no white?" Percy asked slowly.

"That is correct Percy. At least you know your colours, good boy!" I laughed at him, and felt the tension in his shoulders release as he loosen up a little around me.
