Chapter 12
I was back over at the Harrison’s house but as soon as Jayden and I walked in the house, Jayden shot off straight away without saying a word.
I flinched when I heard his bedroom door slam. Don’t know why he’s so moody.
I huffed and made my way to my own room to get ready for the date with Corey.
It felt weird doing this by myself. I would normally have Becky with me, helping me to get ready. Sighing I started to go through my clothes, deciding what to wear.
Corey never told me where we were going so I went for a dress in the end and some flats to make it not so formal.
I came out of the shower and pulled on a little white dress that had lace at the top and flowed down to just above my knees.
I finished myself off by blow drying my hair and adding a bit of eyeliner and mascara.
My stomach was really hurting. I’m so nervous! Once last look in the mirror I walked out my room just as the doorbell went.
“I’m off, see you later!” I shouted out to Jayden but he just ignored me and turned his music up.
Rolling my eyes, I made my way down the stairs and opened the door.
Stood there was Corey looking incredibly sexy in dark jeans and a white t-shirt. The black leather jacket he had over it made him look HOT!
“You might want to wipe that up” Corey chuckled as he pointed to the floor.
I frowned and looked at the ground.
“Huh?”
“You’re drooling” he winked
Gasping I brought my hand up to my mouth and wiped away the drool that was there. My hand pulled away dry.
I looked at Corey to find humour in his eyes “You’re face was so funny!” he laughed
“Oh shut up” I mumbled “Let’s just go”
Corey was still chuckling as we made it to his car.
After a few minutes of driving I started a conversation “So where are you taking me?”
He smirked “That’s for me to know and you to not find out”
“Oh that’s unfair” I whined
“I want to surprise you” he gave me a quick puppy-eyed look
I couldn’t help but melt at that look. I gave up and just looked out the window to try and guess where we were going.
We were nearing the beach and the pier so Corey parked up and got out the car. I frowned and got out as well.
“I didn’t know there was a pier here” I said
Corey took my hand and pulled me along. I couldn’t help but notice that his hands weren’t as soft as Jayden’s.
“It was only built recently for the teenagers around here” he explained
“Oh that’s cool” I looked up at the massive sign as we entered the pier. ‘Seaside Shells’ it read. Wow original I thought sarcastically.
All around us were people no older than me, a few children ran past with candyfloss in their hands. I looked around to find a massive ferris wheel, rollercoaster, waltzers, twisters and so many other little games and shops.
