Chapter 19

“Oh my god! Guess what?” Becky said as she came barrelling into my living room

Jayden and I were watching the TV; I was nestled happily on his lap. It had been a few months since Jamie and I talked to our parents and everything seemed good and normal again which I was glad about.

“What?” Jayden asked when he realised that I wasn’t going to answer

“Annabelle’s mom has got arrested!” she squealed

“Huh?” I asked confused

“You know Annabelle’s mom was Dr Cartwright, the doctor who treated me?”

“Yeah because Annabelle started blabbing about your condition in front of the entire school” Jayden said sarcastically.

I hit him on the chest causing him to scowl at me.

“Exactly! Someone must have done something about it and got Dr Cartwright arrested for breaching patient confidentiality” Becky’s posture relaxed

“Wow! Deserves her right! Do you know who grassed her up?” I asked, excited

She shook her head “I have no idea but I’m going to thank them so much!”

“I did” we whipped our heads around to the voice in the doorway. Jamie came strolling in and snaked his arms around Becky’s waist from behind “I did it for you” he whispered into her ear

Becky turned around so she was facing him now “Really?” she had tears in her eyes

He nodded “Really” Becky suddenly grabbed his hands and rushed him out the door, probably to get back to her house.

Those two have been at it like rabbits since they both said the L word to each other. It was cute but kind of gross when you walk in on them having a very intimate make out session. Yuck.

Jayden shivered underneath me “Don’t want to know what they would be doing now” he made a funny face which made me laugh

I straddled his hips and looked him in the eyes “How about we copy them” I whispered huskily into his ear.

It was a week before the summer break and next week Jayden would be graduating and eventually leaving for college. The thought of him leaving breaks my heart but I’m sure we would be able to work something out.

We had done some ‘favours’ to each other but never went as far as sleeping with each other as I was never ready. Now, I felt that I was ready and I really needed Jayden. No one would be home for hours so now is the perfect opportunity.
