" y-you mean the president of ymc? as in like, the boss?" i fumbled through my words, my voice expressing a mix of nervousness and fear. saeron unnie laughed.

 " he's not a monster, hwayoung- ah. you'll be fine. you  might even like what he offers you." she slyly smiled, probably knowing what the offer was.

" okay, i guess." i hesitantly agreed, following her. we made our way to topmost floor, it looked like one of those expensive and fancy penthouses you see on movies. the walls made a glass, served as windows and all i could see was a stunning view of seoul.

we walked into a automatic sliding doorway, and i looked like someone who has not used modern technology all my life as i thought i needed to open it with my hands. that was utterly embarrassing. saeron unnie laughed at me slightly, before going into what i suppose was the president's office, being it had a golden nameplate that had the president's initials embossed on it. 

" annyeonghaseyo sajangnim." saeron unnie bowed deeply and i did as well. the president nodded and smiled upon seeing us. he looked very warm and welcoming, contrary to what i've heard. i was told by the other trainees that he was scary. but he didn't look that scary to me.

" ah, so you're the infamous choi hwayoung. i've heard many great things about you, young lady." he held out his hand for me to shake and i hurriedly shook his hand with a bow.

" please make yourself comfortable." he gestured towards the chairs and both of us sat infront of his desk.

" the reason i called you here is because i wanted to give you a little promotion." my eyes widened,

isn't it too early for promotions? i mean i just entered the company and all.

" i know you're thinking it's a bit early to promote you since you just became a trainee but," my eyes widened even more and i cleared my throat, not making him notice that i was flustered.

" your talent and skills brought you here, and therefore your talent and skills will take you even further." a comforting smile was formed on his face.

" so let me cut to the chase. wanna one's upcoming album is currently under production and one of the songs in the album has a feature spot open for a female vocalist and your trainors recommended you without hesitation. the only thing needed to start is your affirmation." he thoroughly explained.
