another day had risen before me and like the other training days, i woke up early. my stomach grumbled abruptly as i sensed my need for something to eat. the medicine must be taking effect. they make me extra hungry so i don't forget to feed myself.

a light buzz came from under my bedsheets, and i hurriedly felt through them to hopefully find my phone. i grabbed the device once i felt it and unlocked it with my passcode.

a message notification from daniel popped up, and i quickly clicked on it.

my eyes widened and my brows arched in curiosity. what did he mean by that?

my eyes wandered off to the purple wall clock on jinhee's side of our room. she still hasn't come back ever since the whole incident happened.

i kind of felt a sense of inner peace because somehow, i had space to think for myself. ever since i woke up, all i could do was contemplate and think things out really carefully. as they told me every detail of what happened and how long i was asleep for, i grew even more wary of my own self image.

but at this time, i knew what i truly wanted.

it was almost time for my dance practices so i did my routine quickly and headed out to the main building.

of course, they all had mixed reactions. some were happy i was back, some welcomed me genuinely, and the others looked at me side-eyed as if they loathed even seeing me again. i was used to it, and i learned to just shrug it off.

time flew by during practices, and before i knew it, i was back to the dorm again. boring, i know. but my days were fast- paced like that. it would all just rapidly flash before me and somehow i only end up doing the same thing all over again.

i took out my keys to unlock the door, but i halted when it was already opened from the inside.

" u- unnie?" jinhee sniffed, holding back her tears. " jinhee? why are you crying?" i hurriedly went inside and put my things down. we sat opposite each other on the carpeted flooring.

"w- when did you get back? what happened to you?" i asked worriedly. she looked at me with regret, not being able to answer.

she hung her head low, letting go of the tears she had been holding in all this time. " i'm sorry." she whispered, her voice groggy.
