I wake up to my dad speaking. "Honey wake up, it's training day... for real." I laugh and roll over. "I'm getting up. Don't worry about me." I say while winking. I jump out of bed after he leaves and put on my usual outfit. After I am ready, I dart out the door, and run until I reach the training rooms. I'm first, as always. I look at the clock and realize i'm half an hour early. I Grab the schedule and look for todays date. I see it and see that today we are starting fighting. I shake my head. Worst thing to start with. I look up at the clock hoping that at least 15 minutes went by, but only 2 minutes passed. I sighed and started stretching. I don't want to pull something during training. In the middle of my back-bend, Alex walks in. He freezes. "Am I intruding?" He asks in a nervous voice. I flip over and roll my neck. "No. In fact, I need your company." I say looking at the clock and noticing another 10 minutes went by. "Cool..." Is all he says. He walks up to me and says "What are we doing today?" I grab the schedule again and look at it, even though I already knew the answer. "We are going to start fighting today. So physical." I say while glancing towards him to see his reaction. He looks at the floor. I walk over to him and try to comfort him. "Don't let it bother you... Just go out there and give them your peace of mind, but make sure not to be the best of the best..." He laughs but says "What if my Divergence shows through out it?" I shake my head. "Your Divergence only shows when you are in simulation, it allows you to control what your mind challenges you. It allows you to use more percentage of your brain." I answer. Erudite was showing through I look down quickly and walk over to a rock wall. I took a few steps back, looked at it, sprinted at it, and jumped, grabbing the rockwall with a loud thud. I pull myself up until I get to the top. I do a backflip off of the wall and land perfectly on the ground. As soon as I turn around, I see I had an audience. Everyone was there. I stared into the shocked eyes and spoke. "Today we will start physical training, a.k.a stage one." I walk over to the chalkboard behind me and say "See this board, this board is your life. It tells you what place you are in in training." I walk back over to them and show them the basic moves. "I need a volenteer, that wants to get hit. Alot." Someone raises their hand. "Alright step right here." They stand where my finger is pointed and I immediately started. They had no clue what hit them. They hit the ground with a loud thud. I looked down to see the damage I had done, and realized I only paralized him. I face my initiates, who have shocked faces. I roll my eyes and turn around. "I just demonstrated what you should be doing... NOW!" I scream. Everyone rushes to their stations including Alex, who winks at me before going to his. I walk into the center where the guy that I whooped, and called a trainer in training to bring him to the hospital. Even though I only paralized him, I wanted to make sure he was ok. After the trainy left, I started walking down the paths, watching each initiate practice. Once I get over to Alex, I noticed he was doing terrible. I gave him a few things that he needed to know and walked to the next person. It was a long day, before it ended. "Initiates! Training is over for today. Tomorrow, you will resume and will fight eachother." I say while shifting from one foot to the other. "Good luck and get a good nights sleep. You will need it." Everyone then started walking out including Alex. He then snuck behind a corner. I knew he would try to stay back. Once everyone was gone, he walked out of the shadows and up to me. "You know, I could use some help with fighting... and I was wondering if you would help me." He says. I rolled my eyes. "Sure as long as you don't complain when I whoop you." I say while winking. "Wait I will be fighting you?" He asks pointing from me to him. I roll my eyes again. "Of course! You need to learn from your mistakes the hard way." I say while smiling. I motion him to follow me to the middle of the battle arena and say "Hit me with your best shot." After hours of training, I head to the cafeteria with Alex. "You go first." I say pushing him into the cafe. He stumbles over to his friends as I walk in. I walk over to my usual table and notice the plate that my dad has placed in front of me, Cake. Not just any cake. Dauntless Brave Chocolate Cake! Or known as DBCC between my dad and I. I smile and shake my head as I grab a fork and stick a piece of the chocolate goodness in my mouth.
