Chapter 15

Sorry for the long wait its just that I have a lot of assignments to turn in by the end of the year and I had to rewrite this twice because of my stupid Mac book. Alex's P.O.V: I heard those words slip from her lips and I knew I had to feel her sweet lips on mine. But, I just didn't know who. All I saw was darkness but I just couldn't stop thinking about those words. I don't know who said them or what happened, but I just want to find this mystery girl.

Krissky's P.O.V: I decided to check if Alex was okay in the infirmary. I headed there with only him in mind and what my dad had said. I know he was Abnegation before he was Dauntless but, I just don't know why he wouldn't accept him. As I saw the infirmary come up ahead I started to jog there. "Yes hello, what's your name?" The lady at the desk asked. "5, I was going to ask if Alex Brady was okay? Or if I could possibly see him?" "You're his girlfriend correct?" I thought about this and what to say. "Ye-yes I am." "Well 5, he is currently in a coma, and might have slight amnesia." My stomach dropped and all I could feel was my heart crushing into millions of pieces. "How in the world can he be in a coma?!" I scream. "I'm sorry ma'am, but i'm going to have to send you out." I slammed my hands on the desk and give her a death glare. I lean in and look at her name tag. 'Lucy' was written on it. "Well, Lucy, I think that might be a bad idea. Send me in please or I will have you be in one of these hospital beds when i'm done with you." She looks at me with tears brimming her eyes. She then tells me his room number. "If you tell anyone, I will have you fired." I then walk to his hallway and glance around for his room. I then see two nurses talking to each other. "Excuse me, is this Alex Brady's room by any chance?" I asked. One of the nurses glanced at me and said "Yes, but why would you care? You're 5." I glared at her, not having the patience to tell her why. She glared back until the other nurse who's name was 'Josh' according to his name tag. "Go right ahead in." He said with a smile. "Thank you." I said while walking into the room. If you didn't know where you were, the bright lights and the stone walls would tell you automatically that you were in the hospital. I looked over to a bed and didn't even have to glance twice to know that it was Alex. I ran over to his bed and knelt down next to him. He looked so peaceful even with the oxygen tubes wrapped around his face. I swore as a thought came into my mind. I just wish that I could just tap him and he would wake up smiling right at me, look at me with his blue eyes, and just laugh at my stress. But, no, he wouldn't wake up and do those things because he was in a coma! I felt a tear slip from my eye and roll down my cheek to end up on his hand. All I could think of is all of the precious moments we had together. He was one of the very few people I trusted. Unfortunately, he didn't know everything about me. Even I, didn't know everything about myself. People always said that I was an open book and very easy to read, but I knew that was a huge lie. I kept to myself and never spoke my true feelings to anyone. People disgust me. It's sick that they use slight information about you against you and make you look like the bad guy in any situation or make everything about themselves. I looked down one last time at his precious face and planted a soft kiss upon his lips. Of course, tears fell, but I knew that he wouldn't want me to stay here and mourn over him in a coma. Before I left, I looked back and said "I love you Alex Brady and I always will."
