Chapter 8

                When I wake I breath heavily trying to catch my breath. I look over to see Alex doing the same. Even though I shouldn't be, I was really excited to get to my apartment, and tell Alex everything. "You ready?" Alex asks. "Yea, follow me." I say while walking out of the simulation rooms. We walk across the pathway towards my apartment in the chasm. "This is where you live?" He asks with curiosity. "No Alex I live in the sky... Yes I live here..." I say with sarcasm. "Hey.... Alright you got me..." He says while laughing. His laugh is so adorable. I grab my keys from behind a rock in the chasm wall. "Nice spot. Now I can get into your apartment any night..." He says while laughing even more. "Ay, stop messing with me...I am about to show you my room." I say with a hint of humor. I open the door and put the keys back where I had them. He will never remember where they are. We walk into the Gray room. Alex takes a long look at my room. I took one with him. I have not took the time to actually do this. I looked from the dark gray walls, to the black and grey dandelion bedding that was laying softly on my bed. It was beautiful. "Wow..." Alex says next to me. "We are not here to observe my room, we are here to talk." I say snapping back to reality with the task at hand. "I know..." He says while taking a seat on the black wood floor, leaning against my side table. I also take a seat walking past him and sitting on my bed. "Alright, what do you want to know first?" I ask. "What is your real name? Because I can tell that a number isn't your real name." He says while looking at me in the eyes. I hesitate. "Kr- kris-krissky." I say. "Okay. Beautiful name. Let's take turns on asking questions, your turn." He says which makes me blush. "What was your real name?' I ask hoping that he too, will talk about his past. "Well, it was Alexander. I hated it. It was such an Abnegation name. Speaking of factions, which one were you from?" I look at him and can see the little abnegation boy, dressed in a stiff's clothes. I shake the thought from my head. "I was Dauntless born." He looks down too quick for my liking. "Oh." Is all he says. "Is there something wrong?" I ask. "No, I just thought that you weren't Dauntless born, thats it..." He says. "I can't ask you what your faction was, because I already know, so I will ask you, how old are you?" I say, just realizing that he looks younger than 16. "Well I was hoping you wouldn't ask this, but I am 15. I ran away from Abnegation a while ago, and couldn't find anywhere to go so I hid with the abnegation during initiation day, and was called and I went up there and did what I did." He says while looking at me with a some what scared, but confused look. "What about you?" He asks shifting upwards a bit. "I'm 14." I say. "Wow, I thought you were gonna be like 17 or something." He says, laughing. I laugh "No, just little 14 me. Now my turn. Why did you choose Dauntless?" I ask. "Well I felt like it was an escape route, since you kind of live in the ground." He says laughing. "Oh okay." I say like an idiot, just learning my name. "Well I wanted to ask, who are your parents?" As soon as this leaves his mouth I freeze. I didn't expect him to ask this. "Well...I...ummm... My mom is...well...dead, and her name was Beatrice Prior. My father is-" Before I could answer, he answers for me. "Tobias Eaton." I gulp and say "Yes." "I should've known! The way you guys talk and glance at each other!" He screams. "What is the problem?! Yes i'm the secret daughter of Tobias Eaton! Have a problem with it?!"I scream. "No! But in Abnegation, they are spreading rumors about you. They are saying that you are the most powerful Divergent ever and that the Erudite are looking for you and they are going to experiment on you and I DON'T WANT THAT HAPPENING TO YOU!!!" He screams. I could feel the tears pouring down my face. "I'm sorry. I just-" And then I broke down crying. I don't want that to happen "Are they going to hurt my dad?" I ask after my nervous breakdown. "I haven't heard anything about it." He says while taking my hand in his. "Don't worry, I promise that I won't let them hurt you or your father, even if I die trying." He says I look up at him and say "You die, I die." and then I leaned against him. "Then I will make sure I won't die." He says and laughs. "You have to promise not to call me Krissky around anyone at all. Or even talk to my dad. Please. It for both of our safety." I say while looking at him. "I promise." He says and kisses my forehead. 

        Then I heard a knock on my door. "Hey five, I need to talk to you." I heard my dad say. I got up and shoved Alex in my shower. I rushed out of my bathroom and opened the door. "Hey four, what is it?" I say. He walks in and says "Well I wanted to talk to you about training." He says cooly. "Okay, what about training?" I ask. "Well I was just going to ask if you needed any help, you know with it." He says. "Dad i'm fine. I can handle it." I say. "Okay just making sure. Make sure you use that schedule!" He says. I laugh. "I promise dad, I will use the schedule." He chuckles. "That's my girl." And with that, he left. I walk into the bathroom and opened the shower curtain. Alex screamed and I laughed. "Calm down, it's just me." I say while hugging him. He freezes. I laugh and help him out of the shower. "Can I sleep here?" He asks. "Alex, my dad wakes me up, and he does that by coming in." I say. He frowns. "Oh okay. Can you walk me to the initiates room?" He says while pouting. "I can't. I'm sorry." I say and he hugs me. "No need to be sorry." He hugs me for like 2 minutes and says "Sorry didn't realize what I was doing..." He turns around and says "Goodnight 5." and leaves. I do my night routine, and finally get into my pajamas. I slip into bed and fall asleep slowly, but then all at once and dreamed the most sweetest dreams.
