Okay so this is a different concept where Ash and G are parents, and ummm yeah

Ashley pov:

I sat in my office on my computer with my notebook in front of me, sipping my glass of red wine. My screen displayed the new song I was working on. I groaned in frustration as I scribbled out yet another line in my notebook. I ripped out my page, crumpled it up in a satisfying crunch, and threw it in my overflowing trash can across the room. It was getting late and I told Anthony, my manager I would have this done by Monday so we could record it. It was Friday.

Suddenly the door creaked open, and I saw my little girl shadowed by Gerald who was at least 3 times her height.

"Em! Come here!" I said, outstretching my arms for her to run into.

"Mommy!" She smiled.

I would never get over her calling me Mom. It was all I ever wanted, and now I had her and Gerald.

Speaking of Gerald, he stood at the doorway, but it wasn't until then that I noticed he was holding a plate.

"Emma, you want to give Mommy the surprise you made her?" He said, calling for her.

She turned around in my arms and ran back to him throwing her arms out for the plate.

"Daddy and I made this for you!" She beamed, handing the plate to me.

Taking it in my hands, I started at it. It was a piece of toast with what looked like bright pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles.

"Try it" Gerald smirked walking over to his side of the office.

"Yeah Mommy! Try it!"

Tediously taking a small bite, it tasted like, to be honest, complete shit. The bread and artificial sweetness of the frosting were not mixing well, and for some reason it was extremely salty. I almost gagged. But I was not about to hurt Emma's feelings.

"It's great, sweetheart!" I lied, forcing myself to swallow the disgusting texture and taste.

Lightly pinching her cheeks I kissed her forehead.

"But it's getting late, let's get you to bed! Say goodnight to Daddy!" I said, leading her out of the office and upstairs to her room.

"Goodnight Daddy!" She waved to Gerald while he waved back, looking up from his computer.

"Aren't you going to finish the food I made you?" She questioned as I watched her brush her teeth.

"Oh don't worry, I'll finish it when I put you to sleep" I lied once again.

"Okay!" She cheered.

Tucking her into her bed, and I kissed her forehead and watched her slowly fall asleep.

Slipping out of her room, I quietly walked downstairs back to the office where I of course saw Gerald finishing the last of my wine.

"Wow I was going to have that" I complained, plopping myself on my plush chair at my desk.

"Oh well." He stated. "You already drank half anyways"

"And how hard would it have been for you to walk to the kitchen and pour one for yourself" I asked him.

"Very. Do you know how much mess a 6year old can make by just making a simple piece of toast with some frosting? The kitchen is a mess." He laughed.

"You didn't clean it up?" I groaned, slapping my hand to my forehead.

"Nope" he smiled, popping the p. "How was the toast by the way?"

"Terrible. Why was it salty by the way? That frosting has sugar not salt."
