Meena

Meena hummed her song she was to perform with Jerry as she swept the kitchen when her mom called her.

"Meena, can you come here real quick?" she said.

"Yes ma'am," Meena answered.

She went in to see her mom sitting on the couch.

"Yes, Mom?" Meena wondered.

"Buster Moon just called to let us know about the new group. He said that only two of them are mean while the others are nice. Is that true?" her mom asked.

"Yes ma'am. Those two made the others be mean to us for no reason, but they are actually nice. So my partner didn't mean to say that I couldn't perform," Meena answered.

"Okay. Then who are the mean ones?" her mom asked.

"One of them is a giraffe named Courtney, but she's partnered with Mike, which means they get along very well. But there's a gorilla named Brooke who's partnered with Jamie and she's making her miserable," Meena explained, feeling bad for her friend.

"Well, I hope you guys figure this out," her mom said.

"Thanks, Mom," Meena smiled and hugged her mom.

"Good thing we got that cleared up. Your grandpa would've done some damage to your partner," her mom chuckled, making Meena do the same.

Meena went back to the kitchen and continued sweeping.

Ash

Ash made it home and locked the door. She put her keys on the table and walked into the living room. That's when she saw Lance sitting on the couch, waiting for her.

"Lance?" she questioned.

This got his attention and he stood up.

"What are you doing here?" Ash demanded.

"Ash, I know you don't deserve me, but I really want you back. I have been a total jerk and I want to make it up to you. Please give me another chance," Lance pleaded.

Ash looked at him, thinking he could be telling the truth. But she was still mad at him for making that mistake.

"Lance, I forgive you for doing that, but I don't know if I can fully trust you again. You made your choice and I've made mine. Now leave your spare key here and please leave," Ash told him.

Lance's face fell and he obeyed. Once he was out, Ash started rehearsing her song she was to perform.

Mike

Mike was out playing his saxophone as his girlfriend, Nancy, came to him.

(A/N I looked it up and that's her name in the movie.)

"Hey baby, how are you?" she asked.

"Pretty good. You?" he wondered.

"Pretty good. How's the singing contest going?" Nancy said.

"It's going good. My partner's great, but she's not you," Mike smirked as he held her by her waist.

"Thanks," she giggled then suggested, "How about we go to the club? I've got a feeling we'll get lucky tonight."

He thought about it then answered, "I don't see why not."

He packed up and they headed to the club.

Gunter

Gunter worked on more of his dance moves when he heard a knock on the door. He went to answer it and saw Steve.

"Hey Gunter, what's up?" he asked.

"Hi. What are you doing here?" Gunter wondered.

"I'm having trouble with some dance moves and I was wondering if you could help me," Steve answered.

"Ja! Ja! Come on in!" Gunter agreed.

"Thanks," Steve thanked.

"It's like no problem whatsoever," Gunter assured.

They worked on it until Steve got it down.

"Thanks again, Gunter. And may the best duo win," Steve said, offering a handshake.

Gunter accepted it and responded with a smile, "Yes. We will see."

Rosita

Rosita finally got the kids to bed, but was worried about Jamie. She got her phone and immediately called her. It rang a couple of times before Jamie answered.

"Hello?" she said.

"Jamie, where are you? You were supposed to be home a while ago," Rosita exclaimed in alarm.

"I'm sorry, Rosita. I had a matter to handle and now I got to let Johnny know so it doesn't backfire," Jamie answered.

"What happened?" Rosita asked.

"Brooke stole the money I saved to bail Johnny's dad out of jail and she demanded that I break up with Johnny or I wouldn't get the money back. But I have it taken care of and now I need to tell Johnny," Jamie explained.

"Okay, but next time let me know before I have a heart attack," Rosita chuckled then added, "And have you told Mr. Moon about what happened with Brooke?"

"Yes and I'm handling it through our duet," Jamie answered.

"That's my girl. Now go tell Johnny what you need to tell him then come home," Rosita told her.

"Yes, Mom," Jamie laughed then they hung up.
