Sing Part Two (Johnny X Jamie)

Chapter 28: "Rainbow Connection"

Jamie went backstage and Johnny welcomed her with open arms. She hugged him as she smiled.

"You ready for our duet?" Johnny asked.

"I have been since the day I met you," Jamie said.

Then they went back to get ready.

Meanwhile, Buster announced the next duet.

"For our next duet, we have Meena and Jerry!" Buster stated and went off the stage.

(A/N Meena's outfit above.)

Meena and Jerry, with a guitar, came out on the stage, ready to sing. Jerry started strumming his guitar as the two began singing.

(A/N Play it now. By the way, I had to pick this one since Tori Kelly's already in it. Lol!)

[Jerry:]
"Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side?"
[Meena:]
"Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, and rainbows have nothing to hide."
[Jerry:]
"So we've been told and some choose to believe it.
But I know they're wrong, wait and see."
[Meena:]
"Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.
The lovers, the dreamers and me.

Who said that every wish would be heard and answered when wished on the morning star?"
[Jerry:]
"Somebody just thought of that and someone believed it and look what it's done so far."
[Meena:]
"What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing and what do we think we might see?"
[Both:]
"Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.
The lovers, the dreamers and me.
All of us under its spell.
We know that it's probably magic."

[Meena:]
"Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices?"
[Jerry:]
"I've heard them calling my name."
[Meena:]
"Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?"
[Jerry:]
"The voice might be one and the same."
[Meena:]
"I've heard it too many times to ignore it.
It's something that I'm supposed to be."
[Both:]
"Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers and me."

They sang the last bit as everyone applauded them and they bowed.

Buster came out and announced, "Jerry and Meena!"

The crowd kept cheering.

"I guess I don't need to declare a winner at this point! It's a tie!" Buster decided.

Everyone cheered in agreement.

"Thanks!" Jerry said.

"Thank you so much!" Meena said.

Then they went backstage.

A/N Yay for Meena and Jerry! That video was the reason I made Jerry a frog. And like I said, since Tori Kelly was in it already, I definitely had to do this. Now for the duet between Johnny and Jamie!
