Day 7: We get a day off

Yesterday the coaches told us to dress casually as we were going to do something else today. You didn't like that you didn't know what you were going to be pulled into, but you got dressed none less. you change into a pair of black leggings and your favorite over sized shirt before putting on some comfortable shoes. walking down to the kitchen you braid your hair so it wouldn't be in your face the whole day.

you quickly begin making a pot of green tea allowing the water to boil, as you climb on top of the counter to grab two mugs, one for you and one for Akaashi. Carefully getting down from the counter you grab anything else that you wanted to put in your tea just before the water had finished boiling.

Carefully you fill each cup with the hot water placing a teabag in each cup. letting the bags steep for a few minutes before throwing the bags in the trash. you bring the two mugs out into the dinning hall sitting down in your usual seat waiting for Akaashi. setting your head down on the table you close your eyes, the tea was probably little to hot to drink right now anyways.

Akaashi had entered the room with out you noticing, a smile was held on his face seeing you have two cups set out for you and him. walking over to you he carefully walked behind you. carefully he ruffled your hair making sure not to mess it up. you lift your head happily a smile reaching you face as you were excited to talk about all the possibilities of what you could be doing today with him.

You happily enjoyed drinking you tea with Akaashi, he was definitely not as shy as everyone else thought him to be, he's actually very blunt, which you didn't mind because its better than someone lying. But your talking could only last for so long as the other girls came in to begin making breakfast for everyone. you told Akaashi goodbye as you ruffled his hair grabbing both of your empty tea mugs to clean.

making breakfast didn't take that long you and all the other managers were used to each other by now and all got along really well. except that they teased you more than everyone else.

" you and Akaashi seemed to be getting close." Yukie says while cutting some fruit with you causing the other girls in the room to laugh.

"we're not that close we just talk while having tea or coffee in the morning." you tell them your face slightly red from yukie's remark. the other girls laugh once more as you all quickly finish up making breakfast for everyone.

You set out the plates and sit down waiting for all the boys to come in. you hear a loud sound to see Bokuto and Kuroo trying to come through the door at the same time, you roll your eyes standing up. you push Bokuto back letting Kuroo in first. making Kuroo stick his tongue out at Bokuto. You return to your seat by the other managers engaging in conversation with them as the rest of the boys walk in.

everyone quickly ate their food wanting to know what we would be doing for the day. everyone seemed to be slightly on edge as we all waited quietly. you let out a sigh catching a few peoples attention, you happened to be just a little impatient when it came to surprises. instead of waiting you grab your empty plate and take it to the kitchen to wash it, grumbling along the way.

This ended up making you wash everyone's dishes, but you didn't mind because at least you were occupied with something. You quickly washed all of them not wanting to be stuck in the kitchen for the rest of the day. walking back out to the dinning area you see everyone turn to look at you.

"okay now that (y/n) is here we can tell you whats going on" coach Nekomata begins as you sit down.

"you can't train every single day without any rest, so today as you must already know, is going to be a day off." cheering fills the room with those words. " we want you all to have fun today so we will be sending you to the shopping mall near by", more cheering was heard after that as many boys were excited to eat even more food somehow. you roll your eyes at them as you keep listening. " we have already picked your groups for you, but your group can pick the manager you would like to take with you to watch over you." Nekomata finishes before listing off the groups.

you didn't pay attention to what groups were being called you already knew Tooru would pick you no matter what group he was in. so all you had to do is wait till your name was called.

"(y/N)!" you hear a voice that wasn't Tooru call your name making you look up from the table. it was Kuroo! you raise an eyebrow in suspicion as to why he called your name.

"come on get over here your coming with us!" he calls once again making your jaw drop this was not supposed to happen. you slowly walk towards the rather large group of boys, not just in numbers but in size too. The group consisted of Kuroo, Bokuto, Akaashi, Kenma, the blonde bean stock, Hinata, and Lev. you try to look for Tooru but hes already having fun in his group.

"awe is server girl mad shes not with her big brother" Kuroo taunts.

"shut up!" you quickly say back slamming your foot on top of his before crossing your arms. you hear Bokuto laughing about Kuroo behind you. turning to him you let out a small smile."is something funny Bokuto?" you ask him ,getting him to be quiet .

"Okay lets make our way towards the buses so we can get a good spot" you quickly say walking out of the room with the group of boys following behind you, you could already tell it was going to be a long day.
