Summer

Day 11 : Rainy day

you wake up along with the rest of the girls and get ready for the day as usual, you were pretty tired though since the guys kept messing round in the gym and didn't want you to leave keeping you up till late. You did all your morning things and quickly got dressed in your favorite pair of shorts and a comfy shirt. you make your way towards the kitchen  and begin to brew some coffee as the others walked in to help prepare breakfast, you quickly set a cup at Akaashi's usual spot in the dining hall and go back in to help the girls with the food, it was an unusual rainy day outside and you could hear and see the water fall from the sky in big rain drops. In some ways it was relaxing to hear the water fall but it also seemed to help the heat that you've been having the last couple days at camp. 

soon enough you and the rest of the managers helped finish making the food and you were able to head out, you quickly took your spot next to Akaashi who when you sat down pulled you in to a quick side hug and ruffled your hair. On the other side of you Bokuto noticed and pulled you over to him doing the same thing as Akaashi making you let out a laugh. You enjoy your breakfast with the boys enjoying lots of laughs with them as you eat. 

You feel your phone buzz you quickly take it out to look at it seeing your mom was texting you once again asking how you were doing. you send back a quick reply and tell her that you were in the middle of a meal right now and would text her in a bit. putting your phone back down only to feel it keep buzzing. you let out a sigh and put your phone on silent to get your phone to stop buzzing. You could only wonder why she was texting you so much. You racked your brain trying to think about what it could be but you had no clue, you would look at your phone later anyways. 

Finally everyone finished eating and you and the girls got to work quickly cleaning all the dishes before heading back out to hear the coaches announcements for today. You listen as they explaining today we were to all stay inside to be safe and to try our best not to bring water into the gym to prevent anyone from slipping and getting hurt and that for today unless the rain stops they wont have an afternoon session just to be safe. You can hear some disagreements from the boys about no afternoon practice again but you understood they were just trying to keep us all safe. 

as you made your way towards they gym you check your phone to see your mom had sent you a mass amount of text messages. You take a moment to read them to see that she heard about your massive bloody nose from the other day and needed to hear all about it to make sure that you were okay. 

you quickly text her the run down of the day; of you waking up late, talking with the other managers about what you would be doing, and then Kuroo calling you over to play with them, and then you playing only then to save a ball with your face which was the cause of your bloody nose. Then Kuroo having to carry you out of the gym and helping you shove your nose with tissues until it stopped then being denied being able to help out with the rest of the meals for the day and that was basically it and that you were fine and hadn't had another bloody nose since.

you quickly sent the message off to her and put your phone away walking over to the Nekoma team to help them, like you had been for the past few days. you fill up the water bottles and grab a towel for  each boy to use. you watch as the boys stretch and warm up before they start to practice. Even though Kuroo seems like such a goofy guy he actually leads the team quite well and seems pretty serious about volleyball. But you might actually be the most curious about Kenma though, although he really didn't talk much he seemed really interesting. He does a really good job while playing volleyball but seems to not really care much about it at the same time. You couldn't really tell what was going through his head or weather how much energy he was putting into the game. You watched him through out the first match somehow his long hair managed not to bug him at all, you always had to pull your hair back before you could play.

You continued to help out as the morning went by, you were hoping the rain would let up soon but it only seemed to be raining harder. You loved being outside when it rained but hadn't packed a rain coat not thinking that it would rain.  You let out a small sigh looking out the window near you in the gym.

"whats with the sighing do you not like that its raining?" someone asks from behind you, you turn your head back to see it was Kuroo. 

"not its actually kind of the opposite, I love the rain" you tell him  with a small smile  before taking another quick look back before taking back all the water bottles from the boys so they could start the final match before lunch. soon enough the boys were back to playing and you had to leave with the other managers to help get everything prepared for lunch.  luckily things seemed to go by fast before the boys came into eat. You look around to figure out where to sit to see Akaashi staring right out you with an open seat next to him. You smile at him and quickly walk over and take the seat that was open.

You enjoy lunch with everyone knowing that the coaches were probably going to cancel afternoon practice leaving everyone to do what they want. although you had no clue what you were going to do, maybe you could hang out with the other girls?
