Day 6: My Brother Hates Crows

For some reason Tooru really hates karasuno he never told me why , but its been like this the whole year. Whenever he  had a game against them he would never let you come and watch. But today was different this was the second time they had to play Karasuno in a set, and you got to watch, the last set they played was very close and you could tell the tension was high for this game, the energy they gave off was all very intense. You could see Hinata on the other side become very serious, for the short amount of time you've known him for you knew he was a strong opponent. His speed and super high jumps were amazing, the first time you saw him you were absolutely blown away. But you were sure it wasn't Hinata he disliked the most, it seemed to actually be the setter of Karasuno.

As you waited for the set to start you stepped outside the coffee you had with Akaashi this morning was making you way more anxious than usual. You start to pace back-n-forth you wanted to cheer on your brother but you had become decent friends with the people on the Karasuno team.

"ugh why does this have to be so complicated" you let out a groan you weren't really sure what to do. You could always support both teams but you still felt weird watching it, also Tooru was acting way more intense then usual and you hated when he got like this, he acted like a completely different person. You usually stayed away when he acted like this at home because you were never quiet sure how to deal with him.

You walk over to a tree near the building and climb up to the nearest stable branch. if you couldn't be found you didn't have to watch the set and you would be under less stress and you could just play games on your phone. So you decided to wait until the set was over so you can hang out with some of the other teams. it would all work out perfectly fine.

In the tree you could still hear the sound of balls hitting the ground along with the sound of Tanaka and Hinata screaming, their positive energy made you happy. soon enough the voices became louder as all the sets going on in the gym were coming closer to an end. You let out another sigh as you take out your phone seeing a text from your mom.

"how's it going sweetie? are you having fun?" she asked,   you quickly type a text back to her.

"yeah i'm meeting a lot of people but it's a bit tiring, right now. Tooru is playing in a set against Karasuno is hes a little on edge i think."  you tell her waiting for her reply.

"well you know your brother, he hates crows, but i'm sure he'll be fine make sure hes not putting too much pressure on his bad knee." she quickly sends back.

"okay , I will mom, love you ill text you later! "you send a final message off with a click as you listen to the mass amount of noise coming from the gym. You couldn't not smile at your moms texts, she cared so much even if she did force you onto this trip.

You pull at your ponytail letting your hair down, you pull up one of your favorite social apps on your phone and begin to scroll through it. most of the things were boring but everyone seemed to be having fun. yet you were stuck here with your crow hating brother, and a bunch of boys. the second part isn't actually that bad. plus most of them were very nice and wanted to spend time and talk with you even though they had barley known you for a week.

Wait. Your thought pauses in your head, it had barley been a week meaning you still had about five more weeks here. letting out another groan you threw your head back which was a bad idea because it made you fall backwards off the tree branch.

Luckily you didn't climb up too high, but man did your butt hurt. Sitting up with a groan you pull out the sticks from your hair. Man the day had barley started and you were ready to end it. Slowly standing all the way up you walk back to the gym stretching out your arms, you notice a few cuts on your arms from the fall out of the tree. you let out a sigh walking over to the team bench and grabbing the first aid kit and pulling out a few band aids from up putting them all over the cuts. you turn your head to the game seeing Hinata do a quick, you watch as the ball hits the ground, you turn your head to the scoreboard Karasuno had just won. Tooru seemed to hate the crows even more now.

You couldn't help but to feel sorry for your brother but you knew that you couldn't win every game that you played, but most of the time Tooru expected to win.
