Yesterday, it stormed pretty badly. It was so bad, that Zeref had to stay at work throughout the night. I know he hadn't came back yet because I checked his room. It was still storming this morning. It has never been this bad before.

I let a stranger in my own home last night, too. He was helpless in the rain. He could've gotten sick. He explained that he was just taking a walk before the storm hit, and it was a long time before I found him walking outside my house.

No one else let him in except for me . . .

He's still sleeping in front of me. He looks so peaceful while he's sleeping. Lucy called me earlier, and I told her about him. She wanted to meet him, but he wasn't going to be here forever, so I said no.

I hope the storm ends soon so that Gray could go back to his family.

Natsu Dragneel

Natsu closed his journal, sitting on the couch and staring at Gray. Wind has been blowing against his house all morning, and the sound of rain echoed throughout the building. There was eventually light sounds of thunder. Natsu made some breakfast; pancakes and bacon. He woke up Gray once he finished cooking, and the two sat at the dining table, quietly eating and enjoying their food.

They watched television for a while. The two boys both enjoyed the same show.

And soon enough, Zeref came home to find his younger brother and a stranger sitting on the couch. He noticed when he shook his wet hair as soon as he walked inside the house. His eyes widened, and he ran a hand through his black hair, pointing a hand at Gray and asking, "Who the hell are you?"

Gray already figured this was the guy Natsu was on the phone with the other night. The raven was going to say something, but Natsu stood up with a smile.

"Zeref, this is Gray. Gray, meet my brother Zeref." Gray have an awkward smile, and a small wave. Zeref frowned and looked at Natsu, pointing to the kitchen. The younger brother assumed that Zeref wanted to talk to him. So, he followed. Zeref stood on one side of the kitchen, leaning against the counter while Natsu sat on a stool at the center counter. The rosette wore a cheesy grin when his brother stared at him. He knew what was coming. He was going to get yelled at, but he was going to make it as calm as he could.

"What's up, Zeref?"

"What's up? What's up?! You brought a stranger into this house, that's what's up!" His tone was sharp. It made Natsu's heart stop. He had to keep this conversation calm. He did not want to get yelled at in front of Gray. Especially since he was sitting in the living room not even fifteen feet away.

"How do you know he's a stranger?"

"I've never heard you talk about a Gray, nor have I ever seen a Gray in my house!" Zeref hissed.

"It was storming outside. He was walking, so I let him stay until the storm passed. You always taught me to be kind to others," Natsu replied quietly. This trick normally worked on Zeref. The older would feel bad, and Natsu would have his way. However, today wasn't his day at all.

"You let a stranger in this house, Natsu! Who knows, he could've been a murderer trying to find his next victim. You could've been his next victim, and I would've came home to either find you gone or dead!" Natsu had this same thought the night before while he and Gray were sitting at the fireplace. Natsu really didn't know much about Gray. He didn't know his age, or last name, or even if he actually lived in this town. But if Gray was a murderer, Natsu would probably already be dead.
