I honestly don't know how I feel anymore . . .

To be honest, he's always making me happy, and I don't want to ruin our friendship. But when he took us to the woods . . . I swear, I've never been better since.

The day after, I called my parents after what felt like months. I told them I missed them, but they didn't say the same. And when I asked if I could talk to my siblings, they actually said yes. Though, I couldn't talk to my sister because she moved out shortly after I did.

My brother, Lyon, answered crying. He told me how much he missed me and thought I was brave. He explained that he doesn't know how I could live on my own. Lyon was always rebellious, but deep down he is kindhearted.

I only laughed at him, which made him laugh, too. If only I could make my parents laugh again . . .

Gray Fullbuster

A couple weeks have passed since Gray has last seen Natsu . . . in person. They have been FaceTiming each other to do their summer homework, and Natsu declared that he wouldn't leave his house until it was finished.

They only finished the first book. Natsu hated it. Last year, he didn't get his homework done and got a detention because he "had all summer to do it. That's completely irresponsible of you!"

And Natsu swore he would always do his homework for that teacher because he wanted to prove that he was responsible. When he explained that to Gray, the raven haired male swore his friend was an idiot. This wasn't helping Natsu prove that he was responsible.

Natsu texted Lucy—who was reading two books because she was going into sophomore year—to see if she had finished her reading homework. To his surprise, she did. With the help of Levy, of course. Natsu bit down on his teeth and typed how it wasn't fair because he had to read three books and only had two left.

But it was fair, because Lucy had to read three the next summer.

"This proves how irresponsible we both are," Gray said, even though it was the fifth week of summer. They still had about eight weeks before school started, and the raven knew that. He just wanted Natsu to panick because it was funny.

Natsu sighed, placing his books down on his desk and rubbing his temples. He was tired of thinking, even though he had to highlight the important information. He swore he would just highlight every single word in that book if he had to.

Natsu told Gray that he was on the verge of highlighting each and everyone of the pages in everyone of the books. The raven just laughed and hung up because he had to get ready for work. The rosette sighed and put his books down.

Zeref was downstairs making dinner. The two boys had been on good speaking terms since their conversation in Zeref's room. In Natsu's perspective, the two have a larger relationship than what they had before that conversation.

Wendy and Gajeel, who came over the last Wednesday to stay for two weeks, were sitting at the table. Wendy was reading another book and Gajeel was snoring obnoxiously. Natsu was ready to take a picture when Zeref shook his head.

"Don't."

"Why not?" Natsu crossed his arms and looked in the direction of Wendy, who shrugged her shoulders and looked back at the page she was reading.

"He was up all night playing some online game. He was grumpy when he came down here, mumbling how some girl made everything look easy and then just passed out. He's been sleeping there all day," the black haired male continued cooking, bringing plates of broccoli and rice with pork. Natsu looked at Zeref like he had no sense.
