I guess you can say that this journal has really helped me. Only a little bit. From the start of the summer to the end, I actually have a story to tell, something I could cherish for the rest of my life.

Mr. Dreyar's idea really wasn't bad, was it?

Lucy had told me that it's okay to be myself and that I didn't have to be afraid to share my thoughts with the world. And I listened to her. When school started, I was myself, and I didn't care what others thought. I was an open book.

It was great!

Also, Gray got to see his brother again. He was graduating this year. Lyon is a pretty nice guy, to be honest.

Anyways, this summer had its ups and downs, but let's just call it "The Best Summer Ever" . . .

Natsu Dragneel

•••

Natsu was gay . . . and it felt good to say it, he admits. It felt right, like he was somewhat completed about himself. You could say he found himself out, and that he felt confident. Natsu was always confident, and that was a good thing.

Before school started, Natsu called Jellal and Erza to a small coffee shop in downtown Magnolia. It surprised Erza because she was always the one to make plans about where the three of them would meet. Jellal arrived by himself, walking through the door and searching for Natsu's rosy colored hair. Of course he stood out from all the people with a hair color from black to blonde. Jellal only knew one other person with pink hair.

Jellal awkwardly sat down at Natsu's table, a smile plastered on the lips of the rosette. Jellal has an article to write, and it was due the next week, thank goodness.

Erza came in last, a few shopping bags on her arms. Natsu and Jellal both assumed that she had bought back to school clothes. The week before, she had told Natsu that he needed to buy clothes because he needed to be a role model for the incoming freshmen. And she wanted to leave the school being well known. She had to be looking nice for her senior year.

Erza sat next to Jellal and peaked in on what he was writing. A smile came upon her face, and Natsu grew curious as to what the blue haired male was writing about.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Erza clapped her hands together, intertwining her own fingers together. Jellal took a few peaks up at Natsu and started scribbling in an odd pattern. Wasn't writing supposed to go horizontally?

"Well, I kinda guess you can say I figured it out last minute because I have been think about it last minute before I decided it was true," Natsu started. Erza raised her eyebrow at Natsu, somewhat confused on what he was saying. A waitress came over to their table and placed down three smoothies that Natsu had ordered before the other two even got there. Erza's eyes lit up when she tasted strawberry.

"Where is this going?" the scarlet asked, making both Jellal and Natsu tense up. Her voice was stern. But she was eager to know why Natsu had interrupted her shopping.

"You see . . . I'm, well . . . gay?" Natsu covered his eyes so that he didn't have to see his two friends reactions. Erza's expression became stoic while Jellal nearly choked on his smoothie, dropping his pencil on the ground. Natsu's eyes widened at their reactions, and he looked at Erza while Jellal went to grab his pencil that had somehow rolled to the center of the coffee shop.

"Any other reaction besides staring?" Natsu asked, cocking his head to the right. Natsu furrowed his eyebrows when a smile grew upon Erza's lips. He even heard her whisper a small yes, and she cleared her throat.
