I'm confused. I don't know how I feel about anyone. This summer was kind of a weird one to be honest. With it ending in a couple of weeks, I don't know where I stand. I made new friends, I've figured out more things about people, and I'm this close to losing my mind.
Natsu Dragneel
The rosette just didn't understand. When he questioned himself in the family room, he kept thinking about what he had said, regretting even thinking about it because it had been on his mind every single day. Natsu tried to get his mind off of things by finishing his homework without the help from Gray. With only four weeks left of summer, he had to finish it.
Except he was disrupted with a call from Lucy Heartfilia herself.
"Natsu!" The blonde squealed happily when Natsu answered her. That was the only thing she was happy about. Though she didn't know that Natsu hadn't been on his phone at all that week. She was still happy.
"How may I help you?" Natsu asked, highlighting a sentence in his book. He then wrote something down on a sheet of notebook paper. Notes—they were required for extra credit.
"I want you to know how sorry I am! I'm extremely sorry, so sorry that I would buy you a car!"
Natsu's face lightened up as he stared at his phone screen. Lucy wore an unsure smile. But when a smile grew wider upon her rosy haired friend's lips, her unsure smile grew into a positive one.
"Really?"
"No, but-"
"Oh my goodness, Lucy!" Natsu laughed. He placed his hands down on his desk and ran his hands through his spiky hair. He then blinked a couple of times and went back to highlighting his book. He was so close to finishing it.
"It's okay! I need to talk to you anyways," Natsu exclaimed when Lucy's face looked down. The blonde haired female seemed confused, and she grabbed her phone when her father called her from down the stairs explaining that he had a meeting to go to.
Lucy then sat back down at her desk and placed her head on her hands.
"What do you need to talk about?"
"Everything!"

Gray hadn't been expecting company at all that day. Let alone it be Natsu, who hadn't called or texted him at all that week. The rosette had a back pack dangling from his back. Both of his hands were placed on his hips. A determined smile was planted on his lips, and he eyed Gray up and down.
"Um . . . what's going on?" Gray asked when he caught Natsu's gaze. The rosette flustered slightly and stepping passed Gray, who didn't invite him in.
"I'm staying with you for two days and two nights," Natsu replied, tossing his bag onto Gray's couch. Said male was closing his front door and leaning against it, his arms crossed with an expression plastered on his face as if Natsu was kidding.
"Why?"
"Because I came to figure myself out." The raven haired male raised an eyebrow and sat down on the couch next to the rosette. Gray was curious to see how this would turn out. Natsu was digging in his bag, and he pulled out two books and a highlighter.
