I talked to Gray yesterday, like I asked him to before I went to talk to Erza and Jellal. I asked him if I could get to know him more, and he, thankfully, agreed. So we sat talking for forever and were  lucky enough to finish our conversation before Zeref came home.

He talked about his family and explained that he had an older brother and sister. He also explained that he did go to the same school as me, it's just that we never talked. I felt bad when I said I never seen him before. And honestly, he said he never saw me either, which surprised me because I'm well known for my spiky pink hair.

I guess you can say we became friends over the phone? I don't know.

And when I told Lucy about this (man this girl is eager for a boyfriend), she begged me to set them up. I wasn't going to set her up with someone she only found out existed a day ago. Heck, I don't even know his last name yet!

I'm basically only doing this despite Zeref's words. Screw him wanting to "protect me." He's making my life boring because of a stranger. And I'm surprised that both Erza and Jellal kind of agree with him! It's all making me pissed and it's the first week of summer!

Natsu Dragneel

Natsu sighed when Zeref left the house that morning. He watched as his brother slowly walked to the door with his phone in hand, most likely texting his girlfriend, Mavis Vermillion. Natsu wouldn't be surprised if her last name changed to Dragneel sometime soon.

Natsu loved Mavis. She was awesome. Mavis was pretty laid back. As long as something made someone happy, she would always do what she could to make things happen. Maybe Natsu could get Mavis to tell Zeref that Gray wasn't a murderer? But then again, since Mavis was Zeref's girlfriend, she would probably side with him. Natsu groaned as the car drove down the road. He hated being home alone. So, he decided to FaceTime Lucy again.

"Hey Natsu . . ." Lucy grumbled, rubbing the tired out of her eyes. It was obvious that Natsu had just woken her up. He gave Lucy a kind smile. "Zeref isn't here right now. You wanna pick me up and hang out at the mall?" Natsu asked, standing up to put on a new set of clothes. He already knew Lucy was going to say yes. This would give her a chance to see what kind of guys she would find at the mall.

Lucy was fifteen at the moment. She was going to be a sophomore when she got back to school. So you could say that Natsu was a year older than her. But the two have known each other since they were kids. And Lucy also told Natsu that he was a great way to help her find a boyfriend, since all the ones her age were ugly. Natsu didn't really mind. As long as Lucy was happy, he was okay.

Natsu threw on a read t-shirt and khakis. He threw on his white scarf and tied on a white pair of shoes, making his was back down the stairs, his phone in tow.

Lucy was already driving. She had recently received her license, and she honestly loved it when someone asked her to drive them places. When Natsu got his license, he only took her to places he wanted to go. He always argued, saying that he was in charge because he was behind the wheel. Now she could go wherever she wanted.

"I'm already, like, down the road," Lucy mumbled, pulling the wheel at each curve. "Man, does your road have a lot of curves!" Natsu agreed with her comment, but Lucy didn't seem to notice because she didn't say anything back. Natsu could hear her car pull into his driveway.

"Now get your ass out here before I-" Natsu hung up before she could finish her sentence. He raced out the door and to Lucy's—really her dad's—car. Natsu buckled up, and Lucy drove back down the road. Natsu bounced up and down in his seat, knowing well that he forgot his money for food and other things. Lucy usually carried a couple bucks on her, but that didn't really help them.
