So, I found out last night that Gray was gay. In my car. While driving him to work. I felt bad that he had to tell me after Zeref decided it was okay to butt into his business only a day after he met Gray. But Gray felt okay to tell me, and not Zeref.
I didn't tell Zeref.
Gajeel, Sting, and Rouge were all gone by the time I got back home. Wendy noticed that I had a few tears on my cheeks, and we hugged for about five minutes. Zeref watched before shaking his head and heading to sleep.
I ended up tucking Wendy to sleep that night in the guest bedroom that she slept in each time she visited. And even Gray texted me a few times from work. He even said he would bring me something from Starbucks when he got on break.
He stopped by at eleven, and we sat in the living room, talking about how he could stay up all night. I was surprised Zeref hadn't heard us. I ended up falling asleep at one. And I woke up at nine this morning. Wendy is still asleep and Zeref is at work. Hopefully this day turns out okay.
Natsu Dragneel
The morning was rough for Natsu. Zeref was late for work, and he didn't make breakfast. Wendy woke up at eleven, which made Natsu confused because Wendy was always the one to wake him up.
And Natsu woke up on the floor . . .
The rosette and Wendy were currently making lunch in their pajamas. Peanut butter and jelly, since Natsu still hadn't felt like going to the store to get lunch meat and cheese.
The two were sitting at the table quietly, Wendy half asleep as she slowly chewed on her meal. Natsu was staring off into space, thinking about the events from the night before and how things are now.
'Gray Fullbuster . . .'
His name kept repeating in Natsu's head! He just couldn't stop thinking about him.
Wendy's head smacked against the table, waking her up right away. It snapped Natsu out of his daze, humming as he thought the younger girl had said something.
Wendy sighed and moved her blue colored bangs out of her face and behind her ear.
"I . . . don't know why I'm so tired, Natsu," Wendy yawned. She stared at the table, rubbing her eyes. Natsu looked at her and then shook his head.
"Do you need a nap?"
"I'm not a baby!"
"You obviously need a nap." Wendy folded her arms and yawned once again. Natsu smirked at her when her bangs got back in her face. Wendy eventually went back to sleep, leaving Natsu alone once again. The rosette had nothing to do, and he felt like he should call up Lucy.
That's exactly what he did.
"Can you at least send me a picture of him?" Lucy begged. She was currently making grilled cheese with her phone sitting on top the stove. Natsu swore that if she burnt her grilled cheese, she would never get a boyfriend.
"I don't have any pics of him. Look him up on Instagram or something," Natsu replied, too interested in his favorite show on television to even show his face on camera.
Lucy groaned, flipping the grilled cheese and grabbing her phone to where Natsu was staring at the Paused screen.
"Okay, is his name spelled with an 'e' or an 'a'?" Lucy asked, making Natsu laugh. He then stopped laughing when he realized Lucy wasn't laughing along. Then he questioned what was even funny about her statement. So, Natsu gave her the simple answer, "A," and left things at that.
