I honestly can't believe Gray decided to fight Erza. For what reason, I do not know why yet. I'm guessing Gray slept peacefully last night, because he slept on my bed and I slept on the air mattress. It was very uncomfortable and I know it had a hole somewhere. I woke up this morning flat on the floor. The air mattress was out of air! Gray is lucky he was injured yesterday.
I could invite Lucy over later so that she could stop bugging me about the day the three of us will "hang," in Gray's words.
I just hope Gray feels better soon. I felt so horrible when he came over covered in bruises.
Natsu Dragneel
Natsu spun around in his office chair, tapping his pen against his desk. He watched as Gray peacefully slept on his bed.
The night before, Gray had kicked everything off Natsu's bed. The blankets, the pillows, and the sheets. The only thing left was the mattress cover. The raven was found curled up in a ball that morning. It was hot in Natsu's room, but the rosette didn't think it was that hot. So he got up to open the windows, which let in a cold breeze. Gray still didn't wake up for the blanket. And he only slept in his underwear.
Natsu got onto his computer for a moment to play a few games that he used to play when he was a kid. He knew Wendy was awake because he could hear her light steps walking around in the other room.
Natsu began to question Gray being at work last night. Did the raven miss it or something? He should be fine when he shows up tonight. Gray was beat up pretty badly the day before, to be honest.
The raven haired male began to shift around, rubbing his eyes and yawning. When he sat up, he winced and collapsed back on Natsu's bed. "This sucks . . ." Gray groaned. Natsu stared at all his bandages and raised an eyebrow. "Ya think?"
Natsu called Wendy again for moral support, her standing at the bottom of the stairs as Natsu helped Gray down. The three of them ate cereal for breakfast, and Natsu told Gray that he wouldn't leave until he could walk on his own.
That was going to take a while. Gray was debating whether or not Erza had actually broken a few bones.
Natsu called Lucy at the dinner table, explaining that Gray would love to meet her now instead of next week, even though Gray never brought up meeting Lucy. Natsu swore it took the blonde two minutes total to get over to his house, because when he invited her over, she was in the car. When he hung up, the doorbell rang. Gray and Wendy's eyes widened as the sound interrupted their conversation, both looking at the rosette to answer the door.
Right when he opened the door, Lucy shouted, "Where is he? I wanna meet him!" Natsu pressed a finger to his lips, motioning for her to keep her voice down. Lucy slowly nodded as Natsu lead Lucy to the dining room. Lucy's eyes widened when she saw a guy wrapped in bandages and covered in bruises, and was only wearing his boxers. Gray hadn't seemed to notice Lucy was behind him until Wendy waved to her.
Her expression softened when Gray turned around, a bruise planted on his cheek that was somewhat fading away. Gray smiled at Lucy, who returned it with a small wave. Gray then reached his hand out, which Lucy shook.
"You must be Lucy. I'm Gray, it's nice to meet ya."
A blush covered Lucy's cheeks as she slowly shook Gray's hand. "It's nice to meet you, too," she said before releasing. Gray then turned back around to finish his conversation with Wendy, who were both yapping on about how ice could help get rid of bruises faster. Lucy then turned around and grabbed onto Natsu's arm, pulling him downstairs to the family room. Her face showed a scared expression when she asked, "What happened to him?!"
