Airsickness

When they meant early, they meant early! It was way earlier then when Subaru and Kanata had to wake up and the entire morning was filled with confusion and hurry and a guarantee that someone will forget something as they tried not to forget anything.

"Come on, come on!" said Uncle Masamune "We have be there before six!"

"I should be sleeping!" said Aine

"Come on, are we men or mice?" Kazune asked

"I'll choose whichever one is still asleep," said Subaru

After running around, stuffing their car with any last minute items. They were about to leave, but a change of seating had to be made so Kazune could ride with his bride, so Aine was selected to ride with her cousins to the airport. "I like your car," she said

"Thanks," Kanata mumbled tiredly

"Alright!" said Mr. Yuki "Stay awake boys, we're only driving to the airport,"

"Can't we get a little more rest?" Subaru asked

"You can sleep on the flight to Aikatsu Island," said Mrs. Yuki "Now let's go!"

They waited for Uncle Masamune, Aunt Nene, Kazune, Mirai, Suzune, Momone, and Yoshi to drive off first, then they followed. Aine tried keeping them awake with a conversation, one they did not help to continue.

"Are you excited?"

"More tired," said Subaru

"I can't wait to go back to Aikatsu Island, you'll love it trust me!" Aine went on

"Good to know,"

There was a short pause before Mrs. Yuki asked "So Aine, are you excited about the wedding?"

"Very!" she replied "An island wedding is so cool, that's actually where they met! You see, Mirai was my friend before she got to know my brother, but on our first visit to Aikatsu Island we ran into Mirai, Karen, and their families! Kazune and Mirai hung out a few times, but we really didn't think that much more about it until they started dating,"

"How cute!" Mrs. Yuki exclaimed

"Yeah, next thing we knew they're getting married. Hey! Subaru, Kanata, maybe you'll meet your future wives on the island!"

"Yeah, I don't think so," Subaru shook his head "And please don't mention the L-word in front of this doof," Subaru pointed to Kanata who was grinning knowingly.

"The L-word?" Aine repeated "You mean lo -" she was cut off as Subaru slapped his hand over her mouth.

"Subaru!" Mr. Yuki said

Aine removed her cousin's hand "You know there's going to be a wedding!"

Once at the airport, the two families parked their cars at a (24/7) free parking-lot. Everyone had to take arm fulls of suit cases and bags then drag them across the street and into the airport all while being fast. Subaru dropped a couple items once and no-one stopped to help and only hurried. "Hey!" he said once he grabbed the bag.

After hustling through the air port, checking in their bags, going through security, finding the right gate to go to, they were finally on their way.

"Let's try and stick together everyone," said Mr. Yuki

"These seem like good seats," said Mirai once she found a group of empty seats. Momone dashed over to a window seat and started patting the seat next to her.

"Kanata!" she called "Sit next to me! Kanata! Sit next to me! Kanata! Kanata!"

Kanata gave a slight sigh but sat next to his cousin, Subaru sat next to his brother. "You can I have my window seat if you want, Subaru," said Aine

"No ... I'm fine," said Subaru

"He gets air sickness," Mrs. Yuki whispered rather loudly. Subaru felt his cheeks get hot. 

Air sickness, it was like a weakness he had to planes. They were getting the better of him, the planes, the sky, the air, it was defeating him! 'Maybe I'll be able to get over it, today.'  he thought.

"Bird!" said Yoshi "Book!"

"Hmm-Mm," Subaru nodded as the toddler sat in the lap of his older sister in the seat behind Subaru.

The plane soon took off and they were in the air! But Subaru's air sickness was anything but concurred after he spent most of his time trying to sleep the flight out but failing cause of his dizziness, when he gave up he went to the bathroom and vomited and made it unconvenient for other passengers, he half wished the plane would just land now in the middle of the ocean! But no such luck.

Aine tried to help, even though she never met anyone with air sickness, and took the abrupt straightforward way of just asking "Can I help?" Aine asked "Is there anything I can do?"

"Yes," Subaru said weakly "Take a leg off a chair and just bash it over my head!"

"Subaru that's enough," said Mr. Yuki

"How about instead, I let you live?" Aine asked with a smile, Subaru just groaned in reply as his ears started ringing.

Finally, they arrived at Aikatsu Island. Momone let out a loud "Squee!" as the island got closer and closer. Once on land, and once free from death trap that was a plane, The Yuki Families left and started to collect their bags and luggage.

"There's Monica!" said Aunt Nene, pointing to tall tan girl with curly brown hair.

"Monica works at the resort," Aine explained "She's a friend of ours here,"

"Aine made friends with everyone on the island," said Mirai

The two families, dragging their bags behind them, walked over to the woman. "Hello!" she said kindly "It's so nice to see you all again! And I'm so excited about the wedding, let me be the first on this island to say: congratulations! ... Congratulations!"

"Thank you," Kazune and Mirai said together

"Monica, they are my aunt and uncle, Aunt Libby and Uncle Kaito, and these are our cousins, Subaru and Kanata!" Aine introduced her family as Subaru took a ginger tablet and waved.

"Well it's nice to meet you all!" Monica said happily as she shook hands with all four of them

"You are really friendly," said Kanata

"Thank you," Monica beamed "Alright, the trucks are out front, we can fit six passengers in each so just decided who goes where for yourselves,"

"I want to ride in front!" said Aine

"I want to ride with Kanata!" said Momone

After spending the entire flight of Momone pulling on his sleeve and asking if he saw everything she saw, Kanata wasn't very enthusiastic about the idea. Fortunately for him, he didn't end up in the same truck as Momone and instead was with Kazune, Mirai, Uncle Masamune, Mr. Yuki, and Monica. Momone was in the other truck with everyone else, she sat in the back with Aine and Subaru.

"I think Momone likes your brother," Aine whispered "As in ... like, like,"

Subaru snorted "They're cousins - er - we're  cousins," Everyone's head was filled with such silly romantic fantasies this year.

"I know, but don't you think she does even a little?"

Subaru looked past Aine and at the little girl who had her palms pressed up on the glass of the window as she looked at the sights she missed ever so much from her last visit.

"No," he said
