The day of the wedding had arrived and the morning had started with chaos as Mr. and Mrs. Yuki struggled to get their sons into presentable order. Kanata wasn't too much trouble, however his headphones had to be hidden from him, but Subaru's hair kept sticking up and Mrs. Yuki was fighting a battle of her own to fix it.

"Ouch! Mom! Can't we just leave it as it is?!" Subaru asked

"No!" she said firmly as she pulled hard on the brush

When they were done, they were free to escape. Aine showed them and Maori around. "Look how pretty everything is," she said

"Yeah, it's really nice," said Maori

"Yeah," Kanata shrugged "It is I guess,"

"I wonder what my wedding will be like," said Aine

"I wouldn't know," said Maori "I also don't know any boys my age, or close to my age,"

"I know some, but they are all poopie pants," said Momone

"Momone, language," said Aine. Then she turned to her cousins "What about you guys?"

"It's way too early to be thinking about that," said Kanata

"Yeah," Subaru agreed

"But do you know any girls your age, aside from me?"

"Sure, but I'm not going to marry them," said Subaru

"Yet," Kanata muttered under his breath

Subaru blushed and punched Kanata in the arm. "I don't really want to get married," said Maori "I like it with just me, Mom, and -" Maori stopped herself, the mood dropped suddenly.

"I'm sorry," said Aine

"You really miss him?" Subaru asked

"Yeah, but I'm fine," said Maori

"Are you sure?" Kanata asked "Cause if you ever need to talk about anything -"

"I SAID I'M FINE!" Maori snapped, everyone was taken aback. Maori knew she might have hurt there feelings but she couldn't get the better of herself. "Why does everyone keep asking if I'm okay? I'm fine! I'm fine,"

"Maori," said Kanata

"I'm fine," Maori sniffed, wiping away her tears "I'm ... fine," As soon as Aine wrapped her arms around her, Maori knew she wasn't fine. She cried and cried, letting her friends join in in the group hug, then when Monica came over she took Maori to the bathroom and told them everything would be fine and that their parents were looking for them.

"These are the pictures of our wedding day!" Aunt Nene exclaimed, bringing out the small white box of full of photos. Uncle Masamune carefully handed each one of his children (and his nephews) one picture each.

"Wow. Mama, you look so beautiful in your wedding dress," said Suzune

"Thank you," said Aunt Nene

"Dad, you look nervous in this picture," said Kazune

"He was," said Mr. Yuki "Aren't you nervous,"

Kazune grinned guilty "As nervous as I should be," he said

"Look at the cake in my picture!" Momone exclaimed "How can it stand on only those four little pillar things?"

"It has something to hold it underneath," Uncle Masamune explained

"Hey dad! I see you in this picture!" Subaru exclaimed

"Yeah, I was the best man at the wedding," Mr. Yuki told them "But I'm not the main focus here,"

"Oh yuck!" Momone cried after looking at Kanata's picture

"What?" Kanata asked

"Mama and Papa were kissing in that picture," said Momone

"You know Kazune and Mirai have to kiss," said Suzune

"I'll be closing my eyes that time,"

Maori had come back in much better state, her friends attacked her with hugs and comforting words before the ceremony. "I'm alright now guys, honest," she assured them

"Good," said Kanata "So can we expect only tears of joy from you?"

"Yep!"

Subaru, Aine, Kanata, and Maori sat together in one row. "I'm really nervous and excited," said Aine "And I'm not even the one getting married!"

"No, but your brother is," said Maori

"And Mirai," Subaru added

"Right. What does her wedding dress look like?"

"I only saw it once, she wasn't even wearing it," said Aine "But it's very nice,"

"Oh," Very Nice  wasn't enough description for Maori, but at least that left for more surprise.

The music started to play, everyone stood up. First Momone walked down the isle, showering everyone with her flowers, when she reached the end Kazune slipped her a high five as Uncle Masamune carried Yoshi down isle (who was playing as the ring bearer). Then came the groomsmen, the bridesmaids, and then Mirai. She looked absolutely elegant in her wedding dress, and - seen by Aine's observant eye - Kazune looked in awe and ... nervous.

The night had died down and the excitement had worn off and was replaced by a tired relax feeling. Aine was stuffing the last of her slice of wedding cake in her mouth as she and Subaru watched Kanata and Maori have the last dance before Maori left. It was sad to think they would all have to leave in the morning, especially when they wanted to stay with Maori some more. But she had given them envelopes with her name and address on them so they could all write to her, there was the sliver lining.

"I do not want to wake up early in the morning tomorrow and leave," said Subaru

"Neither do I," Aine agreed "But I do miss my friends from home, but I'm also going to miss you guys,"

"Yeah, we'll miss you too," said Subaru "But I guess we'll always have ... Waffles,"

"She left, remember?" Aine asked with a smile

Waffles had  actually come to the wedding! During dinner, she snuck onto the patio and began running around trying to steal food from everyone. Momone was finally able to contain her by slipping her fruit under the table. Hours later, Waffles let out a screech of congratulations and thanks, Maori screeched back, then she left.

"Then what will we always have?" Subaru asked

"The island I guess," Aine said was th a shrug and a smile. She turned to her cousin "Do you want to dance?"

He shrugged "Sure!"

Subaru and Aine joined Kanata and Maori in their dances and when the music was over, Monica announced it was time for Maori to go. Maori frowned and turned to her friends "I'm really going to miss you guys," she said

"You don't have to worry about us," said Subaru "You'll probably forget all about us in no time,"

Maori shot him a hurt look, her pride had been wounded. "I will never forget you. Never!"

Kanata elbowed his brother then smiled sadly at Maori "We'll miss you too," he said

Maori fought back her tears and gave each of her friends a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Goodbye!"

"Goodbye!"

"Bye Maori!"

"See you next year!"

"Bye!"
