Annabeth

"HEY, SON!" Poseidon yells when we walk through the doors. I look around and there are giants all around us. Everything in the room is huge and I'm so tiny.

"Hi," Percy mumbles. I laugh and then quickly cover my mouth and clear my throat. Ariana is standing behind me and is peeking around my shoulder. I move so that Mom can see her.

"Ariana? Is that you?" Mom asks standing up. "Uh, yeah, I guess.." Her voice trails off and she looks at her feet. "Ariana! Why are you so nervous? I'm Athena! Your mom! Aren't you glad to see me?" Mom asks looking confused.

I look over at Ariana and she is still looking at her shoes and is silent, so I answer for her, "She's really exited. But give her some time, this her first time seeing her goddess mom in 16 years. 17 years in a week." I say and nudge Ariana with my elbow.

She smiles without her teeth and finally speaks up, "Hi, mom." Athena smiles and replies, "Hey, Ariana." Percy interrupts the mother/daughter moment and says, "Well, Father, we brought your trident, by the way."

"Really!? Let me see it!" Poseidon jumps up and down with excitement on his throne. Percy pulls it out from behind him and tosses it to his dad.

"Is that not heavy?" Ariana asks and points to the trident. "Oh, no. It's surprisingly lightweight." Poseidon adds, "My own special touch!" When he grabs the trident it immediately turns huge like everything else and he smiles.

"Thanks, son. And everyone who helped him!" Poseidon says and looks at us when he finishes the sentence. "Now, who had my trident?" Poseidon adds. "You're welcome and about who had your trident, a-" Percy starts until his dad holds up a hand and says, "Wait, never mind, I really don't want to know!"

We all laugh and Poseidon says, "Well, it was nice to see you all. And I'm glad to meet you, Ariana. It seems like you and Percy have been great friends from the start." They look at each other, link arms, and say in unison, "Yep!". Percy's dad laughs and he tells us, "You guys should probably head back to camp. I bet you all have missed home!"

We all nod and Hazel asks, "What about Frank and me? How do we get home?" I think for a moment and answer, "Do you think you want to stay at Camp Half-Blood for a while?" Frank and Hazel look at each other and have a silent conversation. Finally Hazel nods eagerly and Frank says, "Sure, why not."

We land at the beach and Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Leo, and I jump off immediately and run to the Big House. We dint don't know if Hazel and Frank are following us but we just hope they are.

When we burst through the doors it seems like they're having a meeting. The ping pong table is out and there are cheesy snacks on the table. Everyone is gathered around and they look at us for a minute. We are out of breath from running over here and we are breathing heavily. After about a minute it so the cheer and clap.

"We didn't think you were coming back!" Chiron yells and trots over to us. He gives us big hugs and Percy asks, "Why did you think that?" He nervously glances back at the table and looks back at us and answers, "You've been gone for a month, Percy. Plus, we heard about Nicos' death," Ariana makes a sound between a gasp and a sob.

Chiron looks over at her with concern and she gives a look that says 'I'm fine' he looks back over at us and continues, "So we thought that somehow, someway, you might not have made it." We all look at each other and Percy adds in a joking manner, "I'm glad you have so much faith in us!" we laugh and we say hello to everybody then we leave.

"What do you guys want to do?" I ask. "Go say hi to everyone!" Hazel answers, "Go back to my workshop!" Leo says, "Sleep!" Percy and Ariana say at the same time. We laugh and we all go our separate ways.

I go back to my cabin and and flop down on my bunk. I close my eyes and eventually fall asleep until I hear a scream.

(HI. THEY MADE IT BACK TO CAMP. WOOHOO. WHO DO YOU THINK WAS SCREAMING? Well anyway Africa is awesome and yeah. So ily all and goodbye.)
