Annabeth

"If they don't, it would be an accident."

Hylla tells Hazel

"What!?"

Hazel screams and covers her eyes.

Nico stands there, in front of the wall. I look closely and I see there is no fear in his eyes.

Why is he not afraid?

He glances over at Percy and then Hazel.

I can't bear to look this.

I cover my eyes along with Hazel and I hear a gunshot,

There are screams but no crying. I peek through my fingers and see a bullet hole next to his head.

"Oh, come on! You can do better than that,"

Hylla yells at whoever just shot the gun,

"You. Try to do better than her."

She demands and points at another Amazon that is slightly older than the first, maybe a year but no more.

"W-what?"

The Amazon asks,

"You heard me! Do better than her!"

Hylla screams, annoyed.

"O-okay,"

She says and walks over behind the red line that they painted on the ground.

She trembles as she lifts her gun up. She hesitates and is still shaking.

"Well, we don't have all day!"

Hylla tells the girl.

She puts her finger over the trigger, and pulls the trigger.

There is a loud echo and the ringing in my ears come again.

She missed. Thank goodness. But hits his arm instead.

He immediately grabs his arm and winces.

"Can any of you guys actually kill him?! This is training people! You will have to actually do this one day!"

"I'll go!"

A small voice in the back yells.

"Excuse me, pardon me, coming through."

She appears at the front of the group and she looks about 10 years old.

Hylla scoffs and asks,

"And how will you beat a 15 year old and 16 year old, exactly?"

"Can I least try?"

She whines.

"Fine. But, if you miss it, you won't be able to do anything in training until your 11,"

"Yes!"

She fist bumps the air and adds,

"I can do this, I promise!"

She goes up to the red line and lifts up her gun, she makes sure her aim is right, and she shoots.

I knew she was going to miss so I start looking at all the Amazons to we which one could probably kill him.

I was wrong.

The Amazons clap.

Hazel bursts out crying.

Hylla congratulates her.

I look at Nico, he's on the floor, dead.

"No, no, no!" I yell running towards Nico,

"He can't be dead!"

I check his pulse, nothing.

I see if he's breathing, nothing.

Even I start crying. So is Hazel, Percy, Frank, Piper, and Leo.

"I never thought she would be able to kill him!"

Hazel says between sobs.

I see how much pain Hylla has just caused and get up, wipe the dirt off my shorts and storm towards Hylla.

"You! How could you!? You just killed an innocent person!"

"Actually, I did not. She did."

She says pointing to the little girl. She looks up at me beaming with pride.

"You still told them to!"

I can't keep my anger under control and punch Hylla in the cheek and she stumbles back, surprised. My knuckles burn but the adrenaline is making me want more. I want to punch and kick and knee and do whatever I can to make Hylla learn her lesson.

I punch her again when she is recovering. I look down at my knuckles, which are stinging, and see they are bleeding.

Percy comes over and drags me away from Hylla.

"Annabeth! What in the world were you thinking?"

He yells at me. I actually don't know what I just did. And now that I've done it, I've realized how much it just hurt us.

I don't regret it but I wouldn't do it again.

We look over at the Amazons who are helping Hylla. They look up at us with anger their eyes.

"Run."

Percy yells.

We run and run until our calves are burning and I'm out of breath.

We don't know where we are but we do know we are safe. We are in a small room and we lock the room from the inside with a key hanging on the door frame.

Percy looks at me with disappointment and anger in his eyes.

"Why, Annabeth?"

"I-I don't know. My anger just took over me and I punched her then the adrenaline made me want to punch her more and more so I punched her again."

"You know that's not the right thing to do!"

"I'm sorry! I couldn't think straight! I was just so wrapped up in how hurt Hylla just made all of us and at she needed to learn a lesson!"

Percy shakes his head, turns around, and sits down with his back facing me.

(Well. It's been a while. BUT ITS FINALLY SUMMERRRRRRR. YAYYYYYY. HAPPY DANCE. Okay, now that's out of the way, I have a very busy summer with a lot of trips. So I will try to update my status when I'm about to go on one of my trips. But if I find wifi then I'll try my best to write a quick chapter just so you have something.
