He came up behind me and wrapped his hands around my neck, dangling down my shoulders.

"Are you done?"

"I'm done." He sighed. "It's all perfect. Our house is complete."

"Pretty sure it isn't." I tilted my head up to try and look at him. "We don't even have a bed to sleep on."

"Correct." He turned me around so I was facing him. "Or good water or a new television."

"But we have a lovely garden."

We had a wonderful garden. It was full of shrubs and flowers, fresh grass covering the ground, and a few trees over at the corners.

"Yeah, we do have the best garden in all of Britain."

"And," I said "I have the most gorgeous husband in all of Britain."

"I think we're tied on that one."
