After driving for a bit, Calum pulled up outside a restaurant.
"I guess we're here" he said with a smile on his face
"Aw I'm excited!" I said
"I'm hungry!" he replied
I just laughed.
Calum got out of the car and came and opened the door for me.
I got out of the car and we both walked up to the restaurant doors.
Calum went in front of me and opened the door for me.
"You're such a gentleman!" I told him
"Aw thanks" he said blushing
We waited for someone to take us to a table.
We didn't wait long.
"How many?" The guy said
"Table for 2 please" Calum told him
The guy walked us over to the table and placed 2 menus down.
Calum pulled the chair out for me and let me sit down before going to sit in his own chair.
We both picked up the menus and looked at them.
"What do you fancy?" Calum asked me
"Ehm I'm not too sure if I'm honest you?" I replied
"Ehh, maybe the steak..no wait! Maybe a burger! I'm really hungry!" he said eyeing the menu up and down
I just laughed.
"What if you get the burger you want, and I'll get the steak?" I said
"Really? Only if you want the steak!" he told me
"Yeah! I'm fine with that" I replied
After a few minutes the waiter cameover to our table for our order.
"What can I get you?" he asked looking at Calum
"Can I have the triple cheese and bacon burger please?" Calum asked him
I just laughed at him.
"Of course! And what would you like to drink?" The waiter asked him
"Ehm, I'll just have a pint of cola please" Calum replied
The waiter then looked at me.
"And what can I get you?" he asked me
"I'll have the steak please" I told him
"How would you like your steak?" he asked me back
"Well done please" I replied
"Okay. And what would you like to drink?" he finally asked me
"I'll have a pint of cola too please" I told him
After about 30 minutes which flew in, our food arrived.
Calum couldn't wait to eat his triple burger.
"Aww that steak actually looks really nice!" he told me looking at it
"Do you want a bit?" I asked him
"Yeah go on then" he replied
After we ate our dinner, we sat and spoke for about 10 minutes before Calum asked for the bill.
"Excuse me? Could I have the bill please?" He asked one of the staff
"Of course" the waiter said before walking away
After a few minutes, the waiter arrived with the bill and Calum paid for it.
We both got up and left the restaurant.
