When we arrived at the beach, it wasn't very busy.
We both got out the car and walked onto the sand.
Calum took my hand.
We walked along the tide and we walked far enough we both saw a fish and chip shop.
It was like 5:30 by this point and I was starting to get hungry.
"Do you want some chips?" Calum asked me
"Sure!" I replied
We both walked into the shop and Calum asked for a bag of chips.
Calum payed for the chips and we both walked back out of the shop.
Calum held the bag out for me to take a chip.
He just smiled at me.
We both sat down on the sand, but before I sat down, Calum lay his hoodie down for me to aid on so I didn't get covered in sand.
I sat down and we both shared the chips.
When we finished the chips, we both got back up.
Calum wiped down his hoodie and wrapped it round his waist.
We both walked back along the tide towards an ice cream shop.
"Do you want an ice cream?" Calum asked me
"Yes please!" I told him
"What flavour?" he asked me
"Ehm, mint choc chip please!" I replied
Calum ordered 2 mint choc chip ice cream cones.
"You got the same?" I asked
"Yeah haha! Mint choc chip's my fave!"
We both went to sit on the sand again.
Calum lay his hoodie down again for me to sit on.
When we finished our ice creams, we just sat on the sand for ages.
We were now officially in a relationship I guess, and I couldn't be more happier.
Calum wrapped his arm around my shoulder and shuffled closer to me.
"I'm so happy Carly!" he told me
"You are?" I asked him
"Yeah! I mean, I never thought you would've said yes earlier!"
"I never thought you would've asked me Calum!" I told him
He just looked at me before looking down at the ground and smiled.
"What is it Calum?" I asked
"Nothing!" He said looking quite nervous
He just looked at me again.
He turned my head to face him and he looked in my eyes.
It felt as if the world had stopped.
Calum leaned over and kissed me.
I felt like the only girl in the world!
