Chapter 58

CALUM'S P.O.V

Today was the day that Carly was getting out of hospital!

I was so excited!

I just wanted her back home so badly! And now with a new addition to the family!

I was the happiest guy alive!

I tried thinking of names last night coz I had nothing better to do but nothing stood out!

Liam

Jack

Scott

Tom

I just couldn't think of one!

It was frustrating me!

I went up the stairs and grabbed the car seat to out in the car.

Luke and Alison were helping around the house which was nice.

A couple of the neighbours came to the door asking if I needed anything.

It was nice of them, and handed in a couple of gifts for us which was super nice.

I didn't open them! That was Carly's job

Nearly everything was ready for Carly and the baby coming home!

The nursery was decorated.

Banners were up.

Ashton brought round a 'It's a boy' balloon

The house was tidy.

All that was left to do was pick them both up.

Michael finally came round just as I was going out the door.

"Sorry I'm late Cal!" he said

"It's fine! Luke, Ash and Alison are inside already" I told him

"Okay! I'll see you's when you get back!" he said to me

I got in the car and headed to the hospital.

I got in the hospital as quick as I could.

I got to the room Carly before getting a text from Luke.

"Hey could you maybe just stay out the house for about an hour?"

"WHAT? Are you serious right now! Why?!?!?" I replied

"Trust me! 1 hour and then you's can come back!"

"What the hell Luke!!" I text him back

Was he being serious? 1 hour! What was I supposed to do? Where were we supposed to go?

I went into the room and Carly was ready to go.

"Hey babe!" I said to her as I walked over and wrapped my hands around her waist

"Hey Calum!" she replied by wrapping her arms around my neck

We were stuck like that for about 2 minutes before we heard a little scream.

I turned round and baby Calum was lying in the hospital cot.

That's what we're calling him until we came up with a name..

Baby Calum.

I picked him up and kissed him on his forehead.

I had sat the car seat on the hospital bed and strapped baby Hood in.

Carly picked up her bag and I picked up the car seat.

I held Carly's hand and we both went out to the car after Carly checked out with the nurse.

I strapped baby Hood in the back seat before putting Carly's bag in the boot.

Carly got in the car while I went to quickly phone Luke.

ON THE PHONE TO LUKE...

"Luke what the hell! I need to come home!" I said

"Calum calm down!" he said

"I can't calm down! Where are we supposed to go! Carly obviously wants to go home!" I told him

"Yeah I get that! I do! just give us about 15 minutes! Take the longer route home or something!" he suggested

"Fine! But when we pull up outside the house I am not turning back around! What have you done anyway? YOU'VE NOT MESSED THE HOUSE UP HAVE YOU?!" I panicked

"No course not! c'mon you can trust us! just 15 minutes!" Luke said

"Fine! 15 minutes but that's it!" I told him

I hung up and got in the car.

"What's up?" Carly asked

"Nothing! It was just Luke asking where we were!"

I reached over and kissed Carly before starting the engine.

About 20 minutes later, we pulled in to our street.

I pulled up outside the house and drove up the drive.

There were banners in the windows and the front door that said "IT'S A BOY!"

Carly got out the car and grabbed her bag out the boot.

I opened the back car door and brought baby Hood out if the car.

We walked up to the front door and opened it.

"SURPRISE!"
