The next day I got up and ready to go to the airport.
I had something to eat first.
My dad agreed that he would drop me and Alison off at the airport.
I took all of my bags downstairs and sat them at the front door.
My dad packed them all in the boot of the car.
I text Alison saying that we would come and pick her up in about 10 minutes.
It took me ages to say bye to mum because she got all emotional.
After saying bye, I got in the car to go and pick Alison up.
Alison was standing at the front door, ready to put her luggage in the car.
I went up to help her put her bags in the car before getting back in it.
She said bye to her family one last time before getting in the car.
My dad then started the engine and headed for the airport.
I got even more excited that this was actually happening.
When we arrived at the airport, we got all our luggage out the car before going inside.
I said bye to my dad for the last time before going in the airport.
Me and Alison got our passports ready and went to check in.
After a while there was a message that our flight was letting the passengers on the plane.
Me and Alison made way to go on the plane.
We took our seats on the plane and I texted Calum that we were finally on the plane.
After about 15 minutes, the plane took off.
"This is it Alison!" I said excitedly
"Ahh I'm so excited!" she said
