First True Love

Chapter 27

I woke up about half 9 and straight away, I went to get ready.

I went for a quick shower before picking out what clothes to wear.

I put on my denim jeans with just a plain top and I was going to wear my leather jacket just in case it got cold.

I just put a bit of make up on before I looked at the clock.

Somehow it was half 10 already.

I went downstairs and put my converse on before running back upstairs to take my phone off charge.

While I was upstairs, I heard the door go.

It was only 10:45 by this time.

I went down to answer the door and it was Calum

"Calum?!" I said

"Yeah! Eh sorry I'm early." he replied looking quite embarrassed

"Don't be silly! I'm ready anyway!" I told him

I ran back inside and grabbed my jacket.

We both got in the car.

When we got to the theme park, Calum drove round to fine a parking space.

When he parked we both got out the car.

I left my jacket in his car because it was quite warm.

We both walked towards the desk to get our wristbands.

We went on a few rides before lunch time.

"Do you want to go and get some lunch?" Calum asked me

"Yeah sure!" I agreed

We both walked in to a cafe that was in the theme park.

We sat down and ordered lunch.

While we were waiting on our food, I caught Calum looking at me.

"What is it Calum?" I asked him

"Wait what? Nothing! What are you on about?" he replied coming out of his daydream

"You were staring at me Calum!" I told him

"Was I?" He said looking all embarrassed

He reached over the table and took both my hands.

He just looked at me for a few seconds.

".....I love you Carly!" He told me

Did Calum Hood really just tell me he loved me?!

"Calum....I..." before I could finish my sentence, Calum interrupted me

"I'm going back to Australia like next week! I'm dreading it! I didn't know I was gonna come to Scotland and meet someone like you! You've made me so happy! And before I go back home, I want to make things official."

"What are you talking about Calum?" I asked him

"Carly! Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me

I was so shocked, but so happy!

"Of course I will Calum!" I told him

We both had the biggest grins on our faces.

Calum reached over the table and kissed me on the cheek.

After that, our food came.

When we finished our lunch, we both went back out to the rides.

Calum really wanted to go on this huge roller coaster.

I hated roller coasters but Calum twisted my arm to go on it.

I don't know how he did it.

The further the queue went down, the more nervous I got.

We got in the roller coaster and I was literally petrified!

Calum saw how scared I was and held my hand really tight and just looked at me.

"It's gonna be fine Carly! I'm here aren't I?" he said to me

I just shut my eyes as I felt the ride starting.

The ride got to the top of the hill and I opened my eyes. I wasn't expecting to be so high and I just screamed!

"CALUM!!" I screamed

All Calum could do was laugh.

He was still holding my hand, and I held it extra tight before the ride went.

We headed really fast non-stop.

I was dying inside!

All I could do was scream all the way through the ride until it finished.

When we got off the ride, I saw Calum was still holding my hand.

"You alright?" he asked me

"I will be!" I told him

"I'm sorry! I didn't realise how much you hated roller coasters!" Calum said looking all embarrassed

"It's okay Calum! I'll have calmed down in a minute!" I told him

We both just laughed.

We both spent a bit longer at the theme park.

After a while we headed out back to the car and got in it.

"What will we do now?" I asked

It was still really nice and it was still quite warm.

"Do you want to go through to the beach?" Calum asked me

"Yeah sure!" I told him
