The Dolan Twins little sister

chapter 17

Your parents finally came back from the dinner party and they looked exhausted. You asked them, "how was it?" They both replied, "fun!"
Your mom took off her heels and walked to her room. Your dad sat down on the couch with Ethan and Grayson to watch the game on tv. The game on tv reminded you of the game tomorrow. The game tomorrow would be the first game of the season and you were really stressed out. You went to mom and dad's room to remind mom of the game, but mom was already asleep. You then went out into the living room to tell dad, but he was too caught up in the game. You just decided to tell Grayson so he can bring it up later to mom and dad. You tell Grayson, "Hey Grayson don't forget that tomorrow is my first game and I need to be at the fields at 10 am."
"Ok I can take you, because I don't think Dad will have enough energy to take you after tonight but we will see in the morning."

  It stinks that your dad may not be able to go to your first game, but you know that his health is the only thing that matters. You  go upstairs , after talking to Grayson, and go to bed.

Game day

Today was game day and you were ready to play. You put your hair into French Braids and put little ribbons on the ends. You then put on your jersey which was a yellow jersey that said The New Jersey Rockets. You were number 7 on your team which is the luckiest number you could have in softball. You knock on Ethan and Grayson's door and both of them are up and ready surprisingly. You ask Grayson if dad was able to come, but apparently dad didn't get to bed until 3 am which was way too late for him. You, Ethan, and Grayson get into the car and start heading to the fields.
Once you finally arrive at the fields you see your teammates warming up. You run out of the car with your softball supplies and start warming up with your team. Ethan and Grayson get out of the car and already fans are running up to them. You were bothered at the fact that there is so many fans but you remembered that you are playing a game today and your mind needs to be clear.
Once the fans start to die down the game is getting ready to start and your team moves onto the field. This is it, it's your first game of softball without your dad.
