Footsteps were heard down the halls of the Dupain Cheng Bakery as Marinette struggled to get her clothes and things ready as her workspace was full of homework and clothing designs.

"Ohmygod Ohmygod Ohmygod, I can't seem to find my stuff today. Now where did I put that chemistry project rubric?" Marinette wondered aloud, as she rummaged through her room, glancing over at the time to find out that she had ten minutes to get the class, "AHHHHH!"

Out of nowhere, a magenta fairy came out with a paper in her small grasp, "Marinette! Looking for this? Hurry up you're gonna be late!" She flew over to where Marinette was and gave her the paper and quickly hid in the latter's pouch.

"Thanks Tikki, you're the most dependable kwami I know!" Marinette neatly stuffed the paper into her bag and ran out of her room, and down into the bakery where her mom and dad were waiting.

"Sweetie, you forgot to get your lunch!" Sabine Exclaimed as she slid Marinette's lunch across the counter as Marinette took in the sweet smell of her bakery.

"Thanks Mom! And see you DAD!" Marinette yelled to her parents as she ran out the door with lunch in hand.

"Have a good one!" Tom yelled back, after seeing her leave, he sighed, "Sabine, she's never gonna get to school on time isn't she?"

"Sadly... no. But that's our daughter!"

Marinette ran down the streets and watched the cars drive by. Taking in the scenery around her, she continued to sprint down a couple more blocks. Tikki peered out of her pouch and glanced at the time on Marinette's watch.

"Hurry Marinette, you have 6 minutes!"

"Yeah, I know! I'm just about to turn the block!" Marinette ran around the block with her school coming into view, as she ran, she slightly tripped on the groove in the sidewalk, "This is what happens, when I sprint too fast!"

Marinette looks down at the time again, not paying attention to what was in front of her, assuming her path was clear until suddenly she ran into a person at full force, knocking both of them down and causing to recoil backwards.

"AHHH!" Marinette yelped as she flailed her arms, trying to regain her balance but she fell anyway. Expecting to fall to the ground, she braced for impact, but something grabbed her arm and the fall never came. She slowly opened her eyes to lock eyes with HIM. The blond Adonis OF ALL PEOPLE stood in front on her, grabbing onto her, flashing her a big smile, "Adrien? UHHHHH... F-Funny seeing you H-h-here.."

"Well.. we go to the same school.. Glad to know I'm not the only one who's late all the time," Adrien chuckled, pulling her up, causing Marinette to stand extremely close to him.

"Adrien, I am so sorry, I was running and I-I was p-paying attention to where I was going. Man.. I'm such a clutz," Marinette gathered her things to lock eyes with him again, their stare lingering for while before she realized, "Adrien! We're gonna be late come on!"

She took his hand and dragged him into the school. Adrien blushed a little bit when he realized what she was doing but he ran with her anyway, fearing for their tardiness. Marinette and Adrien ran up the stairs and opened the doors to their classroom to find their teacher taking roll call. Suddenly all eyes turn to them with amused looks and a certain someone's glare.

"Ms. Moche (I forgot her name but it means Ms. Ugly in French) I'm so sorry I'm late.. Again." Marinette sighed as she looked fearfully as Ms. Moche.

"No no... it's fine.. You've been tardy so many times, I'm actually used to it. You too Mr. Agreste.. Just... sit down." Ms. Moche replied, her eyes darting to their hands and back to their faces, "While you're at it, do you mind explaining your... situation?"
