Somewhere in the City
"LUCKY CHARM!" Ladybug yelled, throwing her trusty yo-yo, the Status Quo-yo, in the air, and in a flash of brilliant light, came down a bobby pin. She looked at it confusion. Even Chat Noir looked at it in confusion like... A BOBBY PIN? SERIOUSLY?
"Umm.. m'lady, how are we gonna defeat Monsieur Glacier with a bobby pin?" Chat Noir asked, blocking a couple of icicle attacks for Ladybug, she was looking for someway to use it. She then saw Chat Noir's staff glow the ladybug color, and then her yo-yo, and then the pin.
"Ok! Chat! Batter up!" Ladybug yelled, using the rotational power of the yo-yo to quickly launch the pin at Chat Noir, who watched it closely and then swung at the pin, sending it like a rocket straight for Monsieur Glacier's akumatized possession and he didn't notice his watch hands were broken until the akuma flew out.
"No more play time for you little akuma, TIME TO DE-EVILIZE!!" Ladybug yelled, using an unnecessary amount of time to swing her yo-yo at the butterfly, capturing it, and then letting it go, "good bye, little butterfly."
"MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!! I THINK!!" Ladybug threw the pin into the air and it burst into swarms of ladybug that restored all the frozen people and ice around the city. She said that phrase so many times, she almost forgot it.
Everyone who surprisingly didn't die from hypothermia cheered for Ladybug and Chat Noir. Some random man who was Monsieur Glacier just looked at them with a blank and confused expression.
"Pound it!" Ladybug and Chat Noir said, smiling at each other. Then all the sudden, their accessories started beeping. Ladybug put her hands over her ears.
"Oh! Gotta go Kitty! See ya next time! Bug out!" Ladybug ran his cat bell and swung off, leaving a lovesick Chat Noir.
"Man... She's the best." He sighed as he ran and pole vaulted in the other direction.
At School
"Another day... another failed confession," Marinette sighed, looking over Adrien, who was talking to Nino, "Alya, why can I have regular conversations with him but when it comes to hanging out or romance, I turned into a stuttering mess."
"Hmmm.. well. Marinette you gotta be like Ladybug!"
"Oh.. this again..You gotta be more like Ladybug... Why do I feel like, I'm getting this conversation a lot?" Marinette thought to herself before being snapped to attention by Alya.
"Hey Mari? Are you listening? She's brave and courageous and someone like you could use her courage, because girl, you can't give him a straight conversation"
"Hmm? Oh, I guess you're right.." Marinette sighed, Tikki peered out of her bag to look up at Marinette, who said goodbye to Alya before going to a secluded place in the school courtyard and sitting on a bench surrounded by flowers of all kinds blanketed in snow. Tikki then came out and flew in front of Marinette's face. Marinette then looked up and gave Tikki a sad smile.
"Marinette, what's wrong?"
"Nothing.. I just feel like.... I'm always being told to be like Ladybug and I always see that I'm being compared to her greatness."
"But you are her! Are you not happy about being Ladybug?" Tikki folded her arms and looked at her sadly.
"No! In fact, being faithful companions with you was one of the things I was the most grateful for in being Ladybug. Don't get me wrong, but I feel like Ladybug is a completely different person..."
"But you are her, mask or no mask, you're still Marinette and Ladybug rolled in one!"
"Yes... physically anyway. But as for who I am behind the mask, I couldn't be anymore different. She's not me in a sense, personality wise."
