Marinette's POV

It was probably a week since the incident with me being akumatized. I was carried to the hospital by A-adrien... because I sustained a lot of injuries while I was akumatized. Adrien told me while I was in the hospital that I was electrocuted by Hawkmoth and that I was trying as hard as I could to fight the akumatization. I apologized to Alya and Nino for what I said. After a few days in the hospital, they discharged me and said I was good to go. I was back at home now and I... regret everything that I did. I don't know how I can face Adrien... or anyone for that matter. I decided to distance myself for a week or so to gather my thoughts. I haven't been talking to anyone in class, it's just been a quiet week. Although, my parents' 10th anniversary of opening their bakery/cafe is coming up so I have to design a new maid outfit, which is new for me.  The anniversary was on Sunday and today was Friday. I just have to get through today without talking to anybody.

No One's POV

Marinette decided to go with something she has been developing for while now for her outfit. She wore a light green sweater with a pawprint at the front with golden bordering. At the back, she had a zipper inspired by Chat's baton to zip up the sweater, it was a mini baton with Chat's pawprint on it. Marinette was also wearing a knee-high skirt with a cat emblem on the waistband as well as a black bow. Marinette looked at herself in the mirror and smiled, Tikki came out of her pouch and giggled.

"Chat has been really rubbing off on you huh?" Tikki teased, Marinette rolled her eyes and gestured to Tikki to get in her bag.

"Hey! I like to wear different clothes too!"

"Alright, whatever you say," Tikki giggled as she disappeared back into her pouch. Marinette as she started to leave. She entered in her bakery which was about to open for the day. Tom and Sabine greeted her while they were preparing for the anniversary. They were making every single dessert that was the family cookbook.

"Hey Marinette! Have a great day at school today! Your mom and I are gonna have so much fun making these!" Tom wiped his sweat off his forehead, Sabine hugged her daughter goodbye. Marinette ran out the door and back out into the streets of Paris.

"Alright Marinette! I actually think you're gonna make it on time!" Tikki exclaimed, Marinette rolled her eyes and kept walking. Just ONE MORE DAY... to avoid talking to anyone. Sometimes, in the night, she has recurring nightmares about what happened that day. She could have killed Adrien, Alya, Nino, or even Chat.

"If I did make it on time, that would be a miracle," Marinette scoffed at her own joke, she soon saw the school in sight, she sighed she climbed the steps, walking in with the other students. She didn't see any of her friends when she walked in. Although she did feel like people were staring at her. She took a moment to check in she had anything on her, but nothing seemed out order for the most part. She shrugged and walked into class where everyone was sitting. As she went to her seat, she felt even more stares on her. Finally, she couldn't take it anymore, "Umm... do I happen to have something on me? I d-don't know why everyone's staring."

This automatically made everyone's gaze snap back to the board. Marinette sighed and her gaze became clouded, because it was pretty obvious she wasn't paying attention this past week. The door then opened and Adrien, Nino, and Alya walked in talking about something she couldn't care enough to listen to.  She saw them, but she didn't react. When they saw her, they had a surprised look on their faces. Adrien couldn't take his eyes off her, she was wearing something new, he could have sworn that outfit was Chat Noir themed. Alya then nervously sat next Marinette, since she didn't talk to her for a week, it was awkward between them for sure. Alya glanced over at Nino and Adrien to signal them, it was time to figure out why, they nodded subtly in agreement. They had a slight idea of what was bothering her, but they needed to know for sure. It was during lunch and they had an hour to confront Marinette, if they can get her to actually talk to them that is. Alya scanned the campus for any sign of their blue haired friend, and finally, they found her standing by herself, looking as if she was talking to someone. They then started towards her.
