Leena's POV

As I was walking home from my ballet lesson, I walked past the basketball court and spotted the same weird guy that I met just now.

I walked over to him and took his basketball.

" What the- " He was about to curse when I covered his mouth and he looked at me with a frown before pushing me away.

" Cursing is bad. " I said with a smile and he rolled his eyes. He points at the ball but I avoided his gaze and threw it into the hoop.

I cheered as it went in the hoop, " Pfft , it's only one score. " I rolled my eyes as I dribbled the ball and threw it into the hoop again.

Score !!

" Go learn ballet. " He said as he eyed me up and down. I covered my body, and screamed. His eyes widened as he covered my mouth.

" Pervert ! You sly pervert ! I'm- " I was cut off when I saw a familiar looking figure walking out of the car with a fancy girl.

But not as fancy as Leena.

They were smiling widely, " She's prett- " Before he can complete his sentence, I smacked him on the face and he winced in pain.

" What was that for ?! " He screamed.

" For complimenting her. " I said with an emotionless face. He looked at me in confusion, I looked over at them again as I held in my tears.

Yes.

My salty tears.

I walked over to the bench and sat there as I stared at my feet. That dude came and sat beside me, " You know them, don't you ? "

I looked up at him, memories of us flashed in my head and without myself controlling, tears began flowing down my cheeks.

Soon, it became a crying war.

He was trying to calm me down but I kept crying and bawling my eyes out.

" You don't need no man in your life. " He said with a sassy tone as he tried to hold in his laughter. I glared at him and he remained a poker face.

I sighed, " That's a lie. You need a man to continue the family. Women need men to have babies, without birth, humans will be extinct just like dinosaurs ! " I started bawling my eyes out again.

He sighed, " I'm sorry okay ? I just remembered that from those American dramas whenever the girl got dumped or whatever. "

He patted my back awkwardly, " Why are men such jerks ? All they do is cheat and cheat. " He cleared his throat.

" You do know i'm a man right ? " I choked.

" I don't see it. I mean, you look like a pretty boy with really huge eyes and nice features. " He frowned and stood up but I grabbed his hand.

He looked down at me, " Fine. You're a man. "

" You know, I just realised we don't know each other names yet. " He said and I nodded with swollen eyes.

" I'm Lucas or Yukhei. " He raised his hand to shake mine but I ignored his hand.

" We are too close to do this awkward formal thing. By the way, I'm Leena. " I said and he scoffed as he awkwardly kept his hand.

He sighed, " You know, sometimes you just got to live life happy and not cry over worthless things. "

" I mean, that douchebag is a jerk. Why would he cheat on yo- " He looked over at me.

" Never mind, I know why. " I smacked him and he winced in pain. He started to run and I chased after him as he started screaming hysterically.

When I finally caught up with him, I realised he's a head taller than I am. He smiled down at me, " I'll call you corgi. "

I smacked him, " Calm down Corgi. I'll give you a treat if you are a good boy. "

" Whatever man. I need to get home now. " He nodded as we went separate ways. Somehow, I felt really close to him even though it's the first time we've met.

When I got home, I saw him and her sitting on my couch. I rolled my eyes as I walked past them but my mom called me.

" Sit down. " She said in a stern tone.

I ignore her, " Sit down ! " She screamed and I lazily walked to the couch and sit at a corner where it's far away from those jerks.

" Can't you be more lady-like like Jisoo ? " I rolled my eyes while Jisoo smiled fakely.

" Then get her as your daughter then. " I murmured. I mean, I don't want to be lady-like if it means no basketball.

My mom sighed, " Jisoo and Han are attached. " I rolled my eyes, acting as if I don't care but on the inside, I cared so much.

" Do I look like I care ? " I said as I stood up and stormed to my room.

I didn't want them to see me cry.

The thing about wealthy family is that it's not much about how each person feels for each other, but it's more like how much profit can the family make.

My parents forced me to get together with Han even though we have zero feelings for each other. However, gradually I gained feelings for him but since they thought I didn't feel anything for him, they could just break us up just like that.

Complicated right ?

I lied on my bed with my phone in my hand. Nothing seemed to entertain me much now, everything seemed so dull.

I looked around before taking a comic out of the shelf and started reading it underneath my blanket. I held in my laughter.

I continued reading the comic.

Reading is my passion, so is sports. Those two activities made me smile and made me feel happy. I mean, I do enjoy dancing but ballet is a little too feminine for my liking but I still like it.

Suddenly, Lucas's face flashed in my mind.

I smiled slightly to myself, it's really cool how he treats me different from how others treat me. Probably because he didn't know i'm rich.

Please just stay that way.
