Leena's POV

Every single day, continuously, Lucas would always torment me. He would often instruct people to bully me, making my life a living hell.

I used to like him, in the romantic way.

I used to love him a lot, so much so that I even thought he might potentially be my Mr Right.

But no.

Because of whatever he've did to me, every impression of him changed. Where did the Lucas that I used to know go to ?

Moreover, he's known as the school's playboy now. He started hooking up with random girls from our school, going parties late at night and smoking.

It hurts me knowing that the guy I loved so much is now changing into a vampire that is thirsty for fresh blood.

I was about to leave the cubical when I heard two students talking, " Han said he is going to beat Lucas up today after drugging his drink. "

" Isn't it illegal ? " the person replied.

" Come on, it's Han. " Han is one of the richest student in my school. His family owns a few lands and twenty over properties in just Seoul alone.

When the two students are gone, I finally got out of the cubical. Even though Lucas turned against me but I can't bear to leave him alone.

It could potentially be the worst idea, but maybe it's time to go to the pub.

Lucas's POV

" Everybody party ! " The DJ screamed and all of us started cheering as we chugged down bottles of alcohol without stopping.

Everyone was so hype and that includes me. After forgetting about Leena, I started to drink and go parties everyday.

" Hey Lucas, do you want to go to that dark corner there alone ? " Some random girl asked and I smirked, nodding my head.

I was about to leave when someone held my wrist, holding me back. " Where are you going ? " I smirked as I points at the girl and that corner.

" Go and have fun but come back here later, I have something important to show you. " I nodded.

When I got back, the girl continued clinging onto my arm which gets a little annoying. My phone vibrated and I saw the name,

Mom.

I was ashamed of myself as a human being, I didn't dare to face my mom. I haven't been home for at least a week now, I felt like a disgrace.

I heard a sharp scream and all of us walked towards it. I saw the security guards holding onto someone by the arm as he struggled to get away.

" Hey Lucas, drink this. It's specially flew in from France just now and they saved it for us. " I took over the cup and was about to drink when it was dragged away from me.

My eyes widened, " What are you doing here ? "

" To save you. " Before I could even react, she dragged me out of the pub by my hand. We ran for our lives like it's the end if we stopped.

When we ran rather far away from the pub, we came to a playground. It was really late at night so there were no one there.

" What do you mean by, save me ? "

" Han gave you the drink to drug you. He placed drugs inside and was going to beat you up after you're unconscious. " Anger boiled in me.

I slammed my hand against the slide, " Curse that- "

" Curse that what ? " I heard a familiar voice and I turned to face Han. I smirked as I walked towards him.

" Why did you decide to do that ? " Han smirked as he inched his face closer to mine, so close that I smell the strong cigarette smell.

He held onto my collar, " You stole my girl away from me. " I didn't even know who is his girl, I can't even remember which girl I hooked up with.

" Did you know she broke up with me because she fell for you real hard ? " He smirked.

Han placed his hand on my shoulder, " So it's time for me to seek revenge. "

A group of guys gathered behind him as they approached me, I know for a fact that I can't run away but I can't just stay there knowing that I will be sending myself to death.

I saw a wooden stick approaching me in a fast speed, I closed my eyes waiting for the pain but yet, I don't feel anything.

When I gradually opened my eyes, my heart shattered. I saw Leena lying on the floor with floor flowing out of her head.

My blood started to boil, " Anyone can touch me, but if anyone were to touch Leena, you're dead. " I walked towards the guy who hit Leena and I punched him.

I was held back by the rest of them, " Little Lucas is over protective. " Han teased me as he stood in front of me.

He smirked as he started hitting me using the same wooden pole, " I'm having so much fun! Maybe I should record it down and show it to Jiae. "

He smirked as he did a live on instagram, showing how he is beating me up. I struggled to release from
their grip but it's way too tight.

" Oh, maybe hurting him wouldn't cause much pain but what about hurting Leena ? " He smirked and my eyes widened.

He went over to Leena and dragged her, he placed her in a sitting position facing me. " Maybe I should do whatever you did to Jiae to her. "

Han started kissing her and my blood started to boil vigorously, he then slowly took off her clothes while she's unconscious.

I kept struggling to release from their grip, I can't stand the sight of them tormenting her like that.

" Stay where you are! "

It turns out someone reported it to the police and they came to the rescue. They send Leena to the hospital but I had to go to the police station for further investigation.

" Officer, Leena is fine right ? "

" I'm not sure either. " If she's not okay, i'm going to feel guilty all my life. If she didn't come, if I didn't do all of these to forget about her and be selfish then this wouldn't have happened.

When i'm done with the investigation, I ran to the hospital as fast as I could. " Leena. " I was instructed to go to the emergency room.

Emergency room.

No.

It can't be.

I saw Leena's mother bawling her eyes out as she sat outside the room. " I'm really sorry- " I felt a stinging sensation on my right cheek.

" Why do you have to be such a jerk ? do you know how much Leena love you ? " She screamed at me with tears rolling down her cheeks.

I looked down at the floor, with tears flowing continuously down my cheeks.

I'm the cause of all of these.

I should be the one inside the room, not her.

The emergency light was turned off as the doctor came out of them, removing his mask. " How is she doctor ? "

" Her life is out of danger but there's a chance that one of her senses might be affected. "
