"This is not a coincidence, Kelsa! I'm sure he is building that para makapaghiganti sakin! He is mad because I broke up with him! Now, he wants to take my company down!" I yelled.

We're back in my office after the meeting. Mr. Martirez ended the meeting because he noticed that I wasn't feeling well. Sinabi ko nalang na nahilo ako.

Kelsa frowned. "JLCS? As in Jones-Lacson Construction Services?"

Binagsak ko ang sarili ko sa upuan ko. Pinatong ko ang mga siko ko sa lamesa at hinilot ang sentido ko.

I groaned before closing my eyes. "Yes," I said. "that jerk! Hindi pa ba nakakamove on yun?!"

"Eh ikaw, Mya, naka move on ka na?" She teased.

Kelsa and I are good friends now. I told her to stop calling me Miss Alderidge if hindi kami nagttrabaho. I told her that she can call me Mya kahit nasa trabaho kami pero ayaw niyang mapagalitan.

"Of course!" Not. "anyways, hindi muna dapat akong mag-assume na sinadya niyang itayo ang building nila sa tapat natin. But, argh!" I groaned again because of frustration.

"You're overthinking again, Mya. The last time you groaned while massaging your head ay nung nadelay yung dating nung barko nating nagsship ng materials." She chuckled.

I frowned at her. "That was a disaster! Muntik nang hindi matuloy ang fashion show ng Alde Apparel!"

"Calm down, Mya. Kung tama nga ang iniisip mo tungkol sa KittyKath, I'm sure mahihirapan silang gumapang paakyat. Alde Apparel is unbeatable!" She said proudly.

I sighed before covering my face with my palms. "I just hope they are friendly," I said. "I am not in the mood for a rivalry."

"I kinda hope they are in for rivalry. Ex vs ex," She giggled before clapping her hands. "I will be needing some popcorn."

I groaned again. "Babawasan ko ang sweldo mo, Kelsa!"

I'm back at my house but I'm still talking to Kelsa using my earpiece. Hindi pa rin mawala sa isip ko na nagtatayo ng building si Sebastian sa tapat ng Alde Apparel!

"Bakit sa dinami daming lugar mundo, Alaska pa ang napili niya?! At sa Juneau pa talaga kung nasan ang main branch!" I ranted.

Tumatakbo ako sa treadmill. Every time I'm frustrated or upset, I workout. And talk to Kelsa. Kelsa knows how to calm me down and she is willing to listen to my rants. That is why I love her.

"Didn't we have this conversation a while ago, Mya?" Tumawa siya.

I rolled my eyes before increasing the treadmill's speed. "I just...argh! Nakakainis naman kasi eh! My life was already peaceful here! Malayo ako sa kanyang kamag-anak dito sa Alaska but now?! Mapapalapit nanaman ako sa kanila!"

"You know, until now, hindi ko pa rin magets kung bakit kayo naghiwalay. Pwede niyo namang pag-usapan ng maayos ang pag-alis mo, diba? He can visit Alaska when he's free, you can visit Manila when you're free. Simple as that." Sermon niya.

I sighed before turning the treadmill off. Bumaba ako mula dun at kinuha ang face towel ko. I wiped my sweat on my face.

"It's not that simple, Kelsa. May issue si Sebastian sa salitang 'leaving' or 'aalis.' Ayaw niyang iniiwan siya." Sabi ko habang inaalala ko ang mukha niya.

I even broke my promise to him. Yung pangako kong hindi ko siya iiwan, yung sabi kong dito lang ako sa tabi niya.

I became a lying crap. Hindi naman ako pinalaking sinungaling ni Mama.
