Palagi kaming pinagtatagpo ni Valentina ng tadhana. Kahit saan ako pumunta dito sa Juneau, nandun din siya! Nakakainis, baka siya talaga ang itinadhana sakin at hindi si Sebastian.

But after a few weeks, hindi na rin kami nagkita. They said that she already left for Anchorage. Dun naman talaga raw siya nakatira, nagbabakasyon lang raw siya dito sa Juneau.

Well, good! No more criticizing bitch in Juneau.

Now, it's almost my seventh month here in Alaska. I was supposed to visit Manila last month but I kept on having emergency meetings.

And! Tapos na rin ang KittyKath, opening na nga nito in three days. I was amazed, ang bilis magtrabaho ng JLCS. No wonder ito ang pinakasikat na construction services sa Manila.

Nasa opisina ako ngayon, kakatapos lang ng meeting namin kasama ang financial department. Tinanong ko lang kung kumusta na yung sales namin. Mabuti naman at hindi bumaba.

"Here." Sabi ni Kelsa bago pinatong yung puting envelope sa lamesa ko.

I turned my laptop off before looking at the envelope. "What's this?" Tanong ko bago ito kinuha.

"Read it." She shrugged.

I furrowed my eyebrows before opening the envelope. I was greeted by a pleasant smell when I opened it. It was a scented paper.

Tiningnan ko ang likuran ng papel. Napalunok naman ako sa nabasa ko.

"Pano nila nalamang nandito ako?!" Sigaw ko.

"Because of Alde Apparel, Miss Alderidge?" Patanong na sabi ni Kelsa. More like a sarcastic question.

"Pero yung dito talaga sa Alaska na branch?! Sa tingin mo sinabi ni Lola?! Pero sinabi ko na sa kanya na wala na kami ni Sebastian two months ago! Over the phone! Shit!" I yelled.

"Miss Alderidge--.."

"Shit! Sa tingin mo sinasadya ito ni Sebastian?! O ng pamilyang Lacson?! Pero alam kong hindi ito magagawa ni Lola Jill!" I panicked.

"Oh my God, Mya! Calm down! Bakit ka ba nagpapanic?" Stressed na tanong ni Kelsa.

I groaned before placing my elbows on top my table and massaged my head. I also closed my eyes as I aggressively massaged my head.

"I-I don't want to see them! Any of them! I broke their Grandson's heart!"

"Well, it's a break up. May masasaktan talaga. What do they expect?" She rolled her eyes.

I groaned again before opening my eyes. I glared at her. "Not helping, Kelsa."

"You have to show yourself, Mya. Kahit sandali lang, just say hi then tell them that you are leaving for work." She said to me.

"Why do I have to show up? Important quest ba ako?" I rolled my eyes.

"Well, yeah, because Mrs. Jillian Lacson is expecting you to be there." Seryoso niyang sabi.
