What Did You Do!

Jay's POV

The chains. The chains were broken. Both Kai and Lloyd are gone. But how?

"We need to find them" Zane said sternly 

"I agree, but with Kai's new powers we don't stand a chance" Cole said 

"So then what do we do?" I asked. And then we all looked directly at Nya, she didn't want to come to this, but she did.

"Jay needs to get far away from here. We can't let Lloyd find him or else my inner potential may unlock. I have a syringe in my dresser and insert that to Kai while someone make sure Lloyd doesn't do anything stupid," Nya directed, "I have to hard drive still, Zane, you need to put that in your systems in order to figure out how to get rid of dark matter and what the government's plans are"

I grabbed Nya's hand to testify, but she said, "I can't lose you too Jay. Not after what Lloyd did to Kai I can't take defeat anymore"

"Fine, but if anything happens-" I was saying before getting interrupted by Cole, "Will make sure no one dies today, and that we get our friends back"

'Come out to play, ninjas' a voice said 

"I swear if that is Lloyd or Kai I am banding them from playing 'Granny'" Nya hissed, "Zane follow me, Cole watch Jay" and then Zane and Nya ran out of the room.

"Granny?" Cole asked 

"Don't ask" I told him with a sigh 

* Knock* *Knock*

"Oh please let that be the sugar plum fairy wanting to give us candy" I pleaded 

"We need to find Zane and Nya, NOW" Cole yelled as he tried to open the door, but it wouldn't open.

"It's locked!" Cole shouted 

"What do you mean it's lock! The door is never locked!" I complained 

"Could Nya or Zane locked it on their way out, you know to protect you?" Cole whimpered 

"No, they're much smarter than that. I don't think when they said keep us safe was to get locked into a room full of chains" I said 

I could hear screams from far off the ship. It didn't sound like Nya or Zane. Did they get the syringe on time and smacked it on Kai?

Nya's POV

Zane and I ran to my room to get the syringe as Zane was downloading the hard drive into his ,well head. I opened my door and luckily no one was in there, so I was able to go to my dresser and got the syringe from underneath my clothes.

"I found it" I yelled softly  

"Then what are we waiting for then" Zane said as he was walking out of the door before a figure walked in front of him and grabbed him by the neck

"Zane!" I yelled before realizing who had him in his clutches. Kai.

"Another step and he gets it" Kai threatened as he tightened his grip around Zane's neck

"Brother, put him down please" I begged, "No one has to get hurt here"

"You should have told me that a long time ago" Kai said 

"Kai, how did you get out of the chains? It was vengstone" I informed him

"Let's just say that a voice spoke to me, and that voice was power" He told me 

"What side is this so called 'POWER' on?" I asked him

"Greg Berny" He told me 

"But what about you Kai? Who's side at YOU on?" I asked him as I held on tightly to the syringe 

I saw confusion on his face once I asked him that question. It was like he didn't know how to choose a side, but I needed an answer.

"I don't know" Kai answered lowering his grip on Zane's neck, allowing him to take in a breath of air. Before he was able to speak I threw the syringe at Kai, as it slowly went through the air as if it was in an action movie. The needle of the syringe hit Kai's neck making him scream in pain. I knew he hated needles. Zane started to fall until I was able to catch him before he hit the floor.

"You okay?" I asked him

"I couple of dents on my neck, but fine at the matter" He responded 

"Were you able to download the files" I asked helping him up

"Yes, but we need to get to Cole and Jay before something happens to them. Also where is Misako and Wu?" Zane questioned

"They went to the library to find more info" I told him

We ran from my room with the past out Kai to below deck, but when we went down there the door was closed. Odd. I walked to the door and tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge.

"Zane did you lock the do-" Was the last thing I said before blacking out
